"Kerala has taught him (Rahul) lessons...Kerala knows him pretty well now" ----- Is he talking sense? Congress zero in Uttar Pradesh, won't cross 40-mark in Lok Sabha : PM's big prediction -----

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday, May 14, said in Varanasi, "We are moving forward with the aim of winning more than 400 seats in the upcoming elections."
"The Congress won't even be able to make a mark," he said.

Referring to the Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, PM Modi said he has fled Wayanad.

"He (Rahul Gandhi) has fled from Wayanad, and before deciding to fight the upcoming elections from Raebareli, he sharpened his tone, after which Kerala taught him a lesson," the Prime Minister said.

"The people of Uttar Pradesh are now questioning him over his departure to Wayanad. He did not visit Amethi even once," the PM said.

Praising Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Prime Minister said the state has seen development under the former's leadership.

"The people of Uttar Pradesh cannot accept 'parivarvaad' (dynasty politics). They have seen an alternate model which has changed the lives of the people, and the differences have been visible under the governance of Yogi Adityanath," he said.

"My mother had once asked me about the developments in Kashi, to which I told her I had not been able to do anything as the Samajwadi Party was governing the state. But I told her I would work for the city once the BJP wins in the state," PM said recalling his conversation with his mother, Heeraben Modi.

The Prime Minister also praised the leaders and chief ministers of the BJP, saying, "They all work hard on principles and ideologies, which is a pride for me."

On NCP chief Sharad Pawar's stance that regional parties are coming closer to Congress remark, Prime Minister Modi said, "Sharad Pawar's remarks imply he has accepted that the Congress cannot fight the BJP alone."

During an interview with The Indian Express, Sharad Pawar had said, "In the next couple of years, several regional parties will associate more closely with the Congress. Or they may look at the option of merging with the Congress if they believe that is the best for their party."

Also speaking about Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, and if the construction of the same would be valuable for the Lok Sabha elections, PM Modi said, "Ram Mandir has never been a political affair, rather devotional."

"Charso paar is national will".....PM said.

"Charso paar...yeh desh ne kaha hae" - he told India Today in an interview.

"Congress will not able to open their account in Uttar Pradesh....For media, Rahul Gandhi's family is very important...I am a man from ground."

"Why Rahul has left Wayanad ?....He can foresee defeat....Before leaving Wayanad, he has sharpened his speech and made it more aggressive ...But he is saying 'anab shanab (things do not make such sense)".

"Kerala has taught him (Rahul) lessons...Kerala knows him pretty well now".

"Okay, Rahul Gandhi  lost Amethi  2019... Did he come back to that constituency even for once? "

"The people of Uttar Pradesh cannot accept dynastic rule......They have seen an alternative model has changed their lives".
