PM Modi addresses a public rally in North East Delhi
"This is the time when Bharat is taking a leap for development. 2024 elections is to make India one of the top three economies in the world. This election is also to protect the country's economy from powers which want to bankrupt the country with its policies.
It is also to protect the poor and middle class from those who want to snatch away their wealth....".
At the venue of his public address in Delhi North East constituency today, Modi met Pakistani refugees who got Indian citizenship under CAA recently.
"Mera koi waris nahi hai. 140 crore deshwasi, wahi mere waris hain...," says PM
"Amid development works happening here, INDI alliance is busy in destroying Delhi...They are not leaving any opportunity to loot the people of Delhi.
These people had come in the name of eliminating corruption, but today they are in jail due to scams worth crores of rupees...Four generations of Congress ruled in Delhi, but today such is the state of the party that they can't even contest on four seats here."
Foreign diplomats from 13 missions are attending PM Modi's rally in Delhi.
This is not the first time. Similar delegations have successfully experienced the BJP's campaigns during state elections in Himachal Pradesh and Gujarat in 2022, as well as in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan in November 2023.
Meanwhile, Nepal Ambassador to India, Dr Shankar P Sharma says, "20 foreign delegates including 6 ambassadors of different countries are here today to see what the election rally looks like.
We are proud to attend the PM's rally and get a first-hand experience of it. India is the mother of democracy...".
PM Modi also said : "The 2024 (Lok Sabha) elections is to bring India into the top three economies, and to protect the nation's economy from those who want make India bankrupt using their economic policies.
The 2024 (Lok Sabha) elections is also to save the poor and middle class from those who want to take away their assets (referring to inheritance tax)".
Earlier in the day Modi took a dig at Pakistan,
Making a case for a strong government in the country, the Prime Minister said at Ambala that Pakistan had been troubling India for 70 years with bombs in its hands but is now holding a begging bowl.
Modi asserted that robust leadership makes adversaries think twice before challenging India.
“When there is a 'dhakad' (strong/robust) government in the country, enemies too think 100 times before doing any harm,” Modi said.
