Flashback !! In circa 2012.... Congress was in power but Rahul Gandhi had said :: "I know, all of you are bored with the system and want a change"

The country was still debating FDI in retail. The Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress made use of the issue to quit UPA.... Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh had said "Manzil (Destination) is still far way" --- but Rahul Gandhi had said:

"I know all of you are fed up with the system.....".

How time flies .... 12 years and perhaps even less than that .... this is a New Bharat under Narendra Modi and lot of things have changed.

The world cannot ignore India that is Bharat in the comity of nations. And Indian political parties and other stakeholders cannot ignore Hindus in their own land. Ram Lalla got back home and Article 370 has been abrogated. Rahul is still talking about some changes... to bring something new....Narendra Modi says India's grand old party has displayed their pro-Muslim tilt; and also that Congress Manifesto had reflections of the pledges of the Muslim League.

In November 2012, I wrote a short report for 'The Statesman' under headline -- 'Large role sought for Rahul'; and therein I had referred to Rahul's statement:

-- "Mein Janta hoo ki aap log system sey tang aa chuke haen (I know you all are fed up with the system and want a change".

At the same venue -- after Rahul's speech; the large gathering was also addressed by Sonia Gandhi and the then PM Dr Singh.

Rahul's remarks actually made adverse remarks on 'crony capitalism'  and thus did not synchronise well with speeches of PM Singh or even Rahul's doting mother Sonia Gandhi.

Contrary to Rahul's observation, the PM Manmohan Singh had said: "Manzil (Destination) is still far away and we will have to undertake a long march".

Speaking last, Congress president Sonia Gandhi had said: "aaj kal galat kahabrohon ki andhee chal rahi hae (These days, the storm of wrong news is blowing across).

Of course she meant about the corruption charges chiefly emanating from those who were part of the Lokpal Movement under Anna Hazare.

Things were moving......

In his speech Rahul had also said: "The doors of our political system are shut for the common man".
