Nehru to Rahul ...every tall leader in the 'family' insulted Indian Constitution, says PM Modi :::: "For Congress democracy means, they should be in power....even today they have not reconciled that a new Govt was elected in 2014"

"....Even today they have not reconciled to the fact that a new Govt was elected in 2014.....even today they have not reconciled that a new Govt was elected by this country in 2014".

Contrary to what is being states... (That his Govt is autocratic) ---- Prime Minister Narendra Modi said "we are at the receiving end of the criticism that the Supreme Court hardly cares about this (Modi) Govt".  "I feel why should anyone in the Govt try to manage the Supreme Court....the law should continue to the job or what is expected of the law".

"Kanoon apna kam karega....".

"Corruption can also be erased like the way, black marketing has been fought ...... provided those responsible to work against corruption do/did their job".

"I have not changed any law...nor ED was created by me. Rather there has to be a question why ED did not do their job properly between 2004 and 2014.
If the train ticket examiner does not do ticket checking for railways, why should  you keep them".

"In 10 years between 2004 and 2014, the ED could get hold only Rs 34-35 lakh....But after my government came into being, Rs 2200 crore has been caught (by ED)"

When asked if Muslims would vote for the BJP, PM Modi said, “The habit of doing things for votes should be done away within the country. Will you do everything for votes, and not for the country? I am against doing things for power. Whatever I do, I will do it for the country. Vote is the by product.”

“Imagine 700 people live in a village and there are a hundred beneficiaries of a certain scheme. I believe the 100 people should get it irrespective of their caste... there should not be any discrimination in governance,” he said.

“You see the entire debate, from our side, we have not done ‘Hindu-Muslim’ anywhere. We are explaining to the people their [Congress] manifesto... I am explaining to the Muslims that they [Congress] are making a fool out of you for 75 years...” PM Modi said. On the threat to Constitution from the BJP under his government, Modi said, -

"Nehru brought first amendment to the Constitution and that dealt with freedom of speech....Indira Gandhi imposed Emergency after a court order against her....Rajiv Gandhi reversed Shah Bano judgement and Rahul Gandhi showed utter disrespect to the decision of a cabinet when he threw a copy of the Ordinance into pieces and later the cabinet also reversed its decision".

The Prime Minister revealed how he made an effort to get Israel to halt bombing in Gaza during Ramzan.

"It was the month of Ramzan. So I sent my special envoy to Israel and asked him to convey and explain to the Prime Minister (Benjamin Netanyahu) that at least do not carry out bombings in Gaza during Ramzan. They (Israel) made every effort to follow it but in the end, there was a fight for two-three days."

"Here, you keep on cornering me on the Muslims issue but, I didn't publicise it," the Prime Minister said, referring to the Opposition's charge of communal politics against him.

PM Modi highlighted that some others countries also tried to speak to Israel to stop the bombings. "They may have got the results too. I also tried," he added.

PM Modi said he doesn't believe in token secularism. "There was a fashion earlier that if one has to go to Israel, a visit to Palestine is a must. Do secularism and come back. But I refused to do it," PM Modi said, adding that he conducted standalone visits to both Israel and Palestine.

PM Modi remembered an incident when he had to fly to Palestine through Jordan. "When the President of Jordan, who is a direct descendant of Prophet Muhammad, came to know that I am going to Palestine over (the airspace of Jordan), he told me 'Modi ji, you cannot go like this. You are my guest and will use my helicopter'," he said.

"I went to his home for dinner, but the helicopter was of Jordan, the destination was Palestine, and I was escorted by Israeli flight attendants. All three are different but for Modi, all came together in the sky. I believe that all this happens when your intentions are good," he added.
