During discussion on 75th anniversary of adoption of the Constitution of India, AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi said, "Read Article 26, it gives religious denomination, the right to establish and maintain institution for religious and charitable purposes.
"The Prime Minister says that Waqf has nothing to do with Constitution. Who is teaching the PM? Make him read Article 26. The goal is to snatch away Waqf properties...You want to snatch it away on the basis of your strength...".
"In 2014 you came to power due to CAG reports on 2G scam and Commonwealth. But why no report against the Govt is coming out these days from Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India," questions RSP MP N K Premachandran trying to allege that under the Modi government the real strengths of the institutions have been diluted.
These institutions have now become part of the Government," he alleged.

Participating in the debate in Lok Sabha on the 75 years of Indian Constitution, LoP Rahul Gandhi comparing the BJP to Mahabharat's Dronacharya and said just like the Guru in the epic cut Eklavya's thumb, the saffron party was stifling the aspirations of today's youth.
"By bringing in lateral entry in government jobs, you are chopping off the thumb of the youth, backward class people, poor," he said.
The Congress leader's attack comes amid a row over the Centre seeking applications for lateral entry into top posts in central ministries earlier this year.
But, the the ad was withdrawn after a backlash.
Raising the Gautam Adani issue, Gandhi accused the government of giving the businessman undue advantage that, in turn, was harming other small businesses in the country.

These are the words of Savarkar...Savarkar has clearly stated in his writings that there is nothing Indian about our Constitution. He has clearly stated that the book India is run by should be superseded by this book. This is what the fight is about...".
