During discussion on 75th anniversary of adoption of the Constitution of India, AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi said, "Read Article 26, it gives religious denomination, the right to establish and maintain institution for religious and charitable purposes. 

"The Prime Minister says that Waqf has nothing to do with Constitution. Who is teaching the PM? Make him read Article 26. The goal is to snatch away Waqf properties...You want to snatch it away on the basis of your strength...". 

"In 2014 you came to power due to CAG reports on 2G scam and Commonwealth. But why no report against the Govt is coming out these days from Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India," questions RSP MP N K Premachandran trying to allege that under the Modi government the real strengths of the institutions have been diluted.  

These institutions have now become part of the Government," he alleged. 

BJP MP Jagdambika Pal says, "Has Rahul Gandhi forgotten the day when he tore a bill passed by his own government when Manmohan Singh was the Prime Minister? He had insulted the Constitution that very day... 

Congress forced B R Ambedkar to resign as Union Minister because Jawaharlal Nehru always opposed him...". 

Participating in the debate in Lok Sabha on the 75 years of Indian Constitution, LoP Rahul Gandhi  comparing the BJP to Mahabharat's Dronacharya and said just like the Guru in the epic cut Eklavya's thumb, the saffron party was stifling the aspirations of today's youth. 

"By bringing in lateral entry in government jobs, you are chopping off the thumb of the youth, backward class people, poor," he said.

The Congress leader's attack comes amid a row over the Centre seeking applications for lateral entry into top posts in central ministries earlier this year. 

But, the the ad was withdrawn after a backlash.

Raising the Gautam Adani issue, Gandhi accused the government of giving the businessman undue advantage that, in turn, was harming other small businesses in the country.  

"I want to start my speech by quoting what the Supreme Leader, not of the BJP but of the modern interpretation of the ideas of the RSS has to say about the Constitution of India and about how he thinks India should be run 

- "The worst thing about the Constitution of India is that there is nothing Indian about it. Manusmriti is that scripture which is most worshippable after Vedas for our Hindu nation and from which our ancient times have become the basis for our culture, customs, thought and practice. This book, for centuries, has codified the spiritual and divine march of our nation. 

Today, Manusmiriti is law." 

These are the words of Savarkar...Savarkar has clearly stated in his writings that there is nothing Indian about our Constitution. He has clearly stated that the book India is run by should be superseded by this book. This is what the fight is about...". 

On Lok Sabha LoP Rahul Gandhi's address in Lok Sabha, Union Minister Giriraj Singh told reporters: "The Constitution was violated dozens of times and her grandmother became a dictator and he is giving advice to others...".

Rahul Gandhi says, "Constitution mentions the prohibition of discrimination on grounds of religion, race, caste, sex or place of birth...Some days back, youngsters from Sambhal came to see me. 5 innocent people who had done nothing and were just nearby were shot dead. Where is it written in the Constitution?...Wherever you go, you pit one religion against the other. 

You spread hatred. Where is it written in Constitution that one religion has to be pitted against the other, that a Dalit family has to be locked up and criminals have to be allowed to feely roam around? Where is it written in the Constitution? Show me."
