Pakistan issues 84 visas to a group of Indian pilgrims for visit to sacred Shree Katas Raj Temples

Pakistan has issued 84 visas to a group of Indian Pilgrims for their visit to the sacred Shree Katas Raj Temples, also known as Qila Katas, in Chakwal district of Punjab.


The visit is scheduled to take place from Dec 19th and will end on Dec 2th, 2024 , the Pakistan High Commission said here on Tuesday. Dec 17.  



 







Expressing his views on the occasion, Charge d’ Affaires, Saad Ahmad Warraich, wished the pilgrims a spiritually rewarding Yatra and a fulfilling journey.







The Shri Katas Raj Temples, also known as Qila Katas, is a complex of several Hindu temples connected to one another by walkways. 

The temple complex surrounds a pond named Katas which is regarded as sacred by Hindus. The complex is located in the Potohar Plateau region of Pakistan's Punjab province.
