BJP demands resignation, arrest, polygraph test of West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee :::::: Union Minister and BJP leader Giriraj Singh says - Rahul Gandhi would "need to take many births to understand RSS"

BJP demands resignation, arrest, polygraph test of West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee

The saffron party condemned the delay in filing the FIR, the expedited post-mortem, and the limited CCTV footage provided.

BJP leader Gaurav Bhatia said that for a fair investigation, Mamata Banerjee must step down as chief minister.

The BJP also demanded that Mamata Banerjee undergo a polygraph test to verify her claims and accused her of obstructing justice by allegedly protecting criminals and destroying evidence.

Bhatia accused Mamata Banerjee of aligning with wrongdoers rather than supporting the victims.

He said the West Bengal CM has been found not standing with the victim's family.

The BJP also called for the dismissal of Kolkata Police Commissioner Vineet Goyal.

The BJP spokesperson also demanded the release of call records between CM Banerjee, Goyal, and Dr Sandeep Ghosh, the former Principal of RG Kar Medical College.

Additionally, Bhatia condemned the delay in filing the FIR, the expedited post-mortem, and the limited CCTV footage provided.

He expressed dissatisfaction with the overall handling of the case and hinted at internal dissent within the Trinamool Congress, suggesting that the party might face internal strife over CM Banerjee's actions.

In response to enquiries about Jawhar Sarkar’s resignation, Bhatia indicated widespread frustration among the people of West Bengal and Trinamool leaders, suggesting that the controversy could lead to further discontent within the party.

Kolkata doctor's mother alleges Mamata Banerjee is lying: We were offered money

The mother of the Kolkata trainee doctor, who was raped and murdered at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital last month, slammed West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, accusing her of lying.

She alleging that a compensation package (money) was offered to them.

Her reaction came after Mamata Banerjee, earlier in the day, dismissed allegations that the Kolkata Police tried to bribe the parents of the trainee doctor, and called the claims against her government 'slander'.

"The Chief Minister is lying. She said that you will get the compensation, and you can build something in memory of your daughter. I had said then that when my daughter gets justice, I will come to your office and take the compensation," the mother of the ill-fated deceased medico said.

Union Minister and BJP leader Giriraj Singh says - Rahul Gandhi would "need to take many births to understand RSS"

During an interaction with the Indian community at the University of Texas on Monday, Congress leader and LoP in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi said that the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) “believes that India is one idea, while we believe that India is a multiplicity of ideas".

Joining the issue, Union Minister Giriraj Singh said, " A traitor cannot understand the RSS”.

The Union Minister also said, "It seems Rahul Gandhi travels abroad only to defame India. He will never be able to comprehend the RSS in this lifetime, as it is rooted in the values and culture of India".

"If there is any technology to ask his grandmother about the role of the RSS, he should do so or consult the pages of history. To truly understand the RSS, Rahul Gandhi will need several lifetimes.

A traitor cannot understand the RSS, and those who go abroad to criticise the country cannot grasp its essence."

Another BJP leader Amit Malviya sarcastically commented, "Sometimes it is not easy to understand Rahul Gandhi, says his mentor Sam Pitroda. Well, make it most of the time. His bloopers are the stuff legends are made of."

Congress leader Sam Pitroda has said his party MP and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi has a vision contrary to what the BJP promotes and that he is not a "pappu," as he was often mocked.

Rahul Gandhi’s visit to the US is part of a broader outreach effort, including interaction with students at the University of Texas and US lawmakers.

His three-day trip comes ahead of the key US presidential election in November and assembly elections in Haryana and Jammu & Kashmir.
