BJP is traumatized in Haryana, says Nagaland Congress leader Rajesh Sethi
Narwana (Haryana) :
"The ongoing Election season has left the BJP traumatized in Haryana.... Weh log ghabbraye hue hain," says Rajesh Sethi, Congress leader from far-off Nagaland and specially appointed AICC observer for this assembly seat.
Hopping from one hub of the busy township Narwana to the other where electioneering is in full swing braving heat and dust of the political season, Sethi regrets, "It is sad Haryana moved backwards in the last 10 years under the BJP."

He also said, "The saffron party has lost the support base among youths for joblessness and among farmers for their highly controversial and confused agrarian policy".
"When I assess the last 10 years of poor governance in Haryana, I find them confused on what economic liberalisation policy really means," he told group meetings in the town on Tuesday, Sept 24.
He further said, "Sometimes the BJP seems to oppose Liberalisation, sometimes they want to end the socio-political relevance of the farming community. Whatever developments they tried, they resulted in bringing more social disharmony... No one is happy with them".
In a key decision, the All India Congress Committee (AICC) Minority Department has appointed Rajesh Kumar Sethi as the Observer for the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections, especially in the Narwana Assembly constituency.
In the history of corridors of power play in Narwana segment, the names of three important leaders Bhupinder Singh Hooda (former CM), Randeep Singh Surjewala and Kumari Selja will be in the pages of mortals anointed with some kind of immortality, Rajesh Sethi tells party workers and supporters as many showed media reports about the prospects of Congress winning.
This year, Congress has fielded Satbir Dablain from Narwana while Krishan Kumar Bedi and Vidya Rani are contesting from the BJP and the INLD respectively.
Senior Congress leader Randeep Singh Surjewala had contested from Narwana and won the seat in 1996 and 2005. It's a typical anti-BJP bastion. In 2009 Pirthi Singh of Indian National Lok Dal and in 2014 and 2019 Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) nominee Ram Niwas had won the seat.
From farmers' anguish to joblessness and high rate of toll charges on key roads connecting the township and villages have left the local voters anguished.
"We are winning hands down. But I am serious about everything and hence I am leaving nothing to chance. I have blessings from women folk, our mothers and other elders. We will win with a record margin," says Congress candidate Satbir Dablain.
According to senior Congress leader Ishwar Singh, the fact that Dablain is a fresher is a big advantage for him.
Khajanchi Agarwal, another Congress leader and poll strategist, says - "The people of Narwana and Haryana altogether have lauded the politics of Congress party and the leadership of Rahul Gandhi. People have thus decisively rejected the divisive and negative politics of the BJP".
