Firm snub to Sept 12 meet and Rio-inspired Resolution :::: Now, Working Committee - NNPG says "need for new interlocutor does not arise"

Umbrella organisation of Naga rebels blast Neiphiu Rio-regime-inspired 'contradictory Resolution' of Sept 12

"An open discussions in the state sponsored consultative meet with almost every participants emphasizing on the urgency of early solution but the contradictory resolution adopted was purely malafide in all its intent and purpose," said the NNPG's highest policy making body, the working committee.

The statement also says, "Facilitator asserting to pave way for solution in it's true sense must be to sincerely facilitate solution without further delay and not to diabolically delay solution with collusion of anti- solution elements."

The NNPG statement comes in reference to Sept 12 resolution at the end of the Consultative Meet.

This blogger has earlier flagged off a certain irregularities and probably ill intent of such a resolution.

The NNPG statement also flags off a crucial issue - "Does the Nagaland state government have other agendas to be tabled and discussed besides the two signed agreements?"

"If so, they need to bring it to the public domain rather than using subterfuge in the form of demanding new Interlocutor,"  runs the statement.

"It must also be understood that the former Interlocutor was fully empowered by the PMO with the cabinet status, however, with the completion of interlocution phase Shri. AK.Mishra has now been tasked by the GOI as it's representative to fast track solution and therefore the need for new interlocutor do not arise at all..".

The NNPG also stated:

"And quite interestingly, the pre-mediated and pre-drafted resolution of the PAC demanding for appointment of new interlocutor at political level is nothing but another ploy to intentionally subvert and delay political solution.

Rather than resolving to urge the GOI to expedite solution on the basis of the concluded talks, demanding for new interlocutor is nothing new but as expected to sabotage solution and to drag the Indo-Naga political process back to square one.

As a constituent of the GOI, it is also not the responsibility of the state government to demand for a change of interlocutor".

NNPG flags off 'posterity' angle, blast the Rio Govt

The statement was quite candid in calling spade a spade and says, ".... while the final inking was on the verge, the Chief Minister Mr Neiphiu Rio along with NSCN (IM) vociferously demanded the removal of RN. Ravi as interlocutor and thus the entire process was brought to a grinding halt.

"Echoing the success of his move, the Chief Minister Mr Neiphiu Rio in a meeting with the W/C,NNPGs at Nagaland House Delhi in 2022 proudly claimed that the first achievement of PDA government was the successful removal of RN. Ravi.

Thus the delay in implementation of the agreement(s) in it's entirety is attributed to the hostile move of the incumbent state government led by the Chief Minister Mr Rio and the history shall record for the posterity to judge."

"Better late than never, every stake holder must ask, who benefits from the delay in political solution and what course of action must we all pursue together to remove obstruction and clear the path for immediate political solution on the basis of mutually signed agreement between the GOI and the negotiating parties as endorsed by the people." - the NNPG stated,
