Why, How and What are the limits of Hindutva ?? Firstly, Hindus do not know how to be united :::: Secondly, Muslims have no limitation in uniting for the communal cause .... Partition almost looks 'normal' as a lawmaker does not mind saying 'Jai Palestine'

(The ruling dispensation will do good to itself and the country if it takes action against Asaduddin Owaisi for his 'Jai Palestine' remark. That was simply not the occasion to take another country's name.)

To try to get an answer to question ... What are the limits of Hindutva ?

We must try to answer : What's Muslim mindset ? Why they are still 'virtuous' and have endorsement of Left Liberals even if they unite on a communal agenda of opposing a party or a leader -- who gave them cooking gas, toilets and good roads.

Muslims will never vote for the BJP - if this is the message, the 'missive' has to be understood properly in its entirety ....before things go out of control !

Otherwise,,  how does one lawmaker of years experience say 'Jai Palestine' ??

And there's silent from the ecosystem.

He and other lawmakers could have even said Jai 'our neighbour' !!

Red book holding Congress members' double standard is exposed !!

In 2004, the Vajpayee-led NDA and the BJP believed Muslims can be won over. The hope flopped and Atal Bihari Vajpayee had to make way.

In 2014 in many segments probably Muslims voted for the BJP otherwise the saffron party could not have won 71 seats on its own. But again that's probability.

There are instances to suggest even BJP's Muslim booth workers and their family members do not vote for the saffron party candidates. Some instances were reported even from Assam.

Thus, before looking into the failure of Hindutva vis-a-vis 2024 Mandate and BJP's electoral management, the Lotus party will do itself to understand that Muslims will never vote for them. And given an opportunity, they will vote anyone who can defeat BJP. That's called Strategic voting and not communalism !!

A recent article in 'Indian Express' has tried to give a spin and as expected. It says the two meanings of Hindutva — an acceptable political narrative and a cultural expression of Hindu identity — have been a source of political inspiration for the BJP for almost a decade.

"This time, however, the party failed to understand the evolving political scenario and the electoral viability of its Hindutva strategy".

The failure of the BJP to secure an absolute majority in this Lok Sabha election is also being seen as an apparent failure of radical Hindutva, especially in Uttar Pradesh. The party lost its electoral hegemony in the state, unable to even win the symbolic Faizabad (Ayodhya) seat. This is also true about Varanasi, says the article.

The fact of the matter is Hindu is not 'communal' beyond a point -- whereas Muslims and Christmas have been tutored by Left Liberal intellectualism for last 70 years that for them to be 'communal' is a matter of right.

Development does not matter, being anti-Modi and anti-BJP matters !!

Blogger with Indian soldiers in northeast

In the northeast, it was Christian unity. Developmental works, coming of new bridges and roads did not matter. Opposing Modi and voting against BJP and its allies mattered. So Congress could win Nagaland seat and even humble Agatha Sangma in their family bastion Tura in Meghalaya.

If lose for 'Hindutva' is a message drawn from Uttar Pradesh; that Hindu voters d not matter is a message from former Left bastion West Bengal.

In northeast the missive is more deeper; we hate BJP and Modi and we will ensure the defeat of any other party who associates themselves with the saffron party.

To look the other way is -- the rediscovery of measures that this is the way we will hand over the graveyard to political future of the BJP.

In Varanasi too, the fact of the matter is although Prime Minister Narendra Modi won comfortably, the vote share of the ruling party fell considerably. Moreover, the BJP also lost a number of seats adjoining Varanasi.

The UP plot was well worked out by the Opposition. A concocted video was circulated wherein it was claimed that Amit Shah has said that reservation will be ended soon once BJP comes to power.

The saffron party IT-strategists could not handle this onslaught or they overestimated the powers of Modi, Yogi, Ayodhya and Varanasi (Kashi) put together.

  1. There are dozens of Owaisis in Kerala assembly which once passed a resolution for the release of terrorist Abdul Nazar Madani. Kerala assembly also passed a resolution in support of Palestine, in fact Hamas. Owaisi should have born in Kerala. -- M Mohan
