Congress got a benefit of doubt in Nagaland: BJP national vice president M Chuba Ao :::: "PM exemplifies working smart and working harder"

"PM Modi exemplifies working smart and working harder"....

...... Congress got a benefit of doubt in Nagaland

New Delhi

The opposition parties focused only on negativity and the Congress never focused on party organisation and at the same a section of media was partial and even glorified a jailed Chief Minister, BJP national vice president M Chuba Ao has said.

"We are not anti Media. Our party leadership and Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modiji himself believe that the Media can be a partner in the country's development process. But the media is losing out importance and prestige because a section of media is blatantly partial," Chuba told 'Nagaland Page'.

"They slam Modi and even will glorify a 'jailed' Chief Minister, give him clean chit.  That section of prejudiced media has harmed itself. From our side, you know Modi ji gave about 80 media interviews in about 45 days," he said.

"The Congress campaign was on negativity ...simply personal against the Prime Minister who enhanced India's prestige".

To a question, he said, "In Nagaland, people gave Congress a benefit of doubt and an emotional verdict. It was an accidendal defeat for NDPP-BJP candidate. But we bow down humbly".

"But at all India level, Congress fought the elections on Twitter. They thought Twitter mein gaali against Modi ji will fetch them votes. This worked in some states but will not work next time.

Other regional parties were not functioning as reliance partners to the Congress or each other. Some regional parties in Opposition already have a very poor show and so their relevance will be questioned. The BJP's growth in states such as Odisha also means in politics, a political party has to work harder and smarter.

"Odisha has tribal population and poor people. They are looking towards BJP Shri Modi exemplifies both these qualities," he said.

M Chuba Ao also said,  "Modi ji remains very popular. Perhaps he is the only leader globally to return to power in a democracy after Covid19 . The Prime Minister has also strengthened India. His efforts to hold a hugely diverse country into a 'single united nation' has thrilled the people of this great country".

Answering questions, Chuba said,   "The NDA win was expected; we could have achieved slightly better results in some states.

Right from beginning every BJP Karyakarta knew we will win and Modi ji will return to power. The simple reason is the most important reason  -- Narendra Modi's victory reinforces the belief that the people of India want performance. The Electorate wants results."

He further said, "A leader like Narendra Modi was important even in 2014. Now in 2024 he has been India's Prime Minister during the last 10 years. You asked, why does Modi ji click? (Smile) For the last 10 years as the Prime Minister he has worked so tirelessly for all sections of people. He delivered cooking gas and toilets to women.

India's infrastructures are much better and in international stage, Bharat's prestige has gone up. In north east, central leaders and ministers have visited regularly. The emotional integration is now very strong".
