The BJP-led alliance will meet President Droupadi Murmu and stake claim to form a government.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah tweets "Congratulations to PM Modi on being unanimously elected as the leader of the NDA. 

"The last 10 years stand out as an era of large-scale development and welfare under the visionary leadership of Modi Ji. The NDA is firmly committed to serving the nation and its people with renewed strength and momentum."

Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, and JDU leaders Lallan Singh and Sanjay Jha, were among those present at the meeting.

During the NDA leaders meeting at 7, LKM, the residence of PM Modi, in Delhi, all leaders congratulated PM Modi for his leadership and the strides our nation has made under him. 

They appreciated PM Modi's hard work and efforts in nation-building. 

NDA partners said that PM Modi has a clear vision for Viksit Bharat. They lauded PM Modi's role in increasing India's pride in the world. 

NDA leaders lauded PM Modi's efforts towards poverty eradication and pledged to continue the good work. 

PM Modi said that this was a historic mandate for 3rd consecutive government which was last received in India 60 years back.
