I have been seeing people in long queues outside the Congress office, asking for Rs 1 lakh money, says Modi .:::::::: "PM Modi ji served well ... and whatever is left he will fulfill all that in the next term," - Nitish Kumar


"They (INDIA bloc) have been lying to such extent... the slips they distributed among people during the elections to mislead them; for the last two days, I have been seeing people in long queues outside the Congress office, asking for Rs 1 lakh money... How you misled the people... they thought they will get the money after June 4, and now they are beaten and thrown out," says PM-designate Narendra Modi





"Honourable PM (Modi) never took any rest .... day and night" -- says N Chandrababu Naidu


"This is the power of India's democracy that those questioning EVMs and the Election Commission were silenced after the results," 

-- Narendra Modi said.


"Our party JD-U supports the name of Narendra Modi- the leader of BJP parliamentary party - for the post of Prime Minister," - said Nitish Kumar, JD-U Before the meeting started, Nitish and Modi exchanged plesantries and the TV cameras rolled as the Bihar Chief Minister almost tried to touch Modi's feet. 


"For last 10 years he is the PM and Modi is again set to become the Prime Minister. 

"Aur inhone pure desh ki sewa ki ....aur pura bharosa hae jo kucch bhi bacha hae agli baar yeh sab pura kar dengey 


(He has served the entire country well ... and whatever is left he will fulfill all that in the next term,)" - Nitish Kumar at the NDA meet.





"We are firmly committed to stay with him....whatever he will do will be good....and we think,,, next time when you (looking towards Modi) come back ... we have seen some people have won here and there.......next time everyone (BJP's rivals) will lose....


... The Opposition did not do any good work. Now that you have got a chance once again. In future there will be no scope left for the rivals".  





Taking a potshot at the Congress over their electoral performance, Narendra Modi said, "Congress couldn't touch the 100-mark even after 10 years. Their total seats in the last three Lok Sabha polls is fewer than our tally in this election alone."- Modi 


"If you notice the things which happened between June 1 and June 4, statements were being given in a planned way to push the country towards violence. This is very serious. Attempts were made to mislead and divide the people. Election is such festival which connects more and more people, it is not for dividing the people," Modi said.  


TDP chief  N Chandrababu Naidu said:

"Modi's focused and dedicated approach has transformed the nation to a global powerhouse"



Soon after being chosen as the leader of the NDA, leader of the BJP parliamentary party and leader of the BJP in the Lok Sabha, Narendra Modi met Advani at his residence. After meeting Advani, he met Murli Manohar Joshi at his residence.  

Modi aldo met former President Ramnath Kovind.


"I greatly cherish interacting with him, especially thanks to his unique perspectives of matters of policy and empowering the poor," posts PM Modi. 







"It is a matter of happiness that I have got the opportunity to welcome such a big group here. Those who have emerged victorious, they all deserve praise. 


But, those lakhs of workers worked hard day and night, and workers of each and every party... the efforts made by them... I bow to them," says PM Modi while addressing the NDA Parliamentary Party meeting.
