Supreme Court raps Kapil Sibal "Don't at least laugh" on Kolkata horror !!

Congress leader Adhir urges Sibal to withdraw from representing West Bengal Govt

"You were an elected representative of people in Lok Sabha... Even now you are Rajya Sabha member. So common people's desire and grievances have over the RG Kar Hospital incident is coming out like a Jwala Mukhi (volcano), you have to think for withdrawing from the case," Chowdhury told a press conference.

Chowdhury also said rather mockingly.

"Mamata Banerjee has a lot of money, she had offered Rs 10 lakh as compensation to the parents of the junior doctor who was raped and died. She would be paying you also a huge amount...These money she has is people's taxation money. I am sorry Mr Sibal when i get to see people commenting on social media against you".

He further said:

"Kapil Sibal is a legal luminary but I would request him to withdraw from this case. Considering the sentiments, anger, and frustration of the people of Bengal, it would be better not to support the criminals."

"Its a very positive step that SC has taken suo motu cognizance of the incident. I'm hopeful that SC'll take revolutionary decision. Strict action must be taken against those responsible".
