Lashkar-e-Taiba's most wanted terrorist, Abu Qatal, murdered in Pakistan :::: "Majeed Brigade, the Fidayee unit of Baloch Liberation Army, targeted a convoy of Pak military"

Lashkar-e-Taiba's most wanted terrorist, Abu Qatal, was murdered in Pakistan on Saturday night. Qatal, a key operative of the terror outfit, was known for planning multiple attacks in Jammu and Kashmir. 


Abu Qatal was a nephew and close associate of Hafiz Saeed, the mastermind of the 26/11 Mumbai attacks.


Faisal Nadeem, alias Abu Qatal, a key mastermind behind the attack on a pilgrims' bus that killed nine and injured 41 in Reasi district on June 9 last year, and the killing of seven people in Rajouri district's Dangri village on January 1, 2023, was shot dead on Saturday night in the Dina area of Punjab, Pakistan.

Lashkar-e-Taiba's most wanted terrorist, Abu Qatal, was murdered in Pakistan on Saturday night. Qatal, a key operative of the terror outfit, was known for planning multiple attacks in Jammu and Kashmir.


Abu Qatal, whose real name is Zia-ur-Rehman, was travelling with his security guard in the Jhelum area around 7 pm when unknown attackers opened fire. The assailants fired 15 to 20 rounds, killing Abu Qatal and one of his security guards on the spot. Another guard was critically injured. 





Abu Qatal was under heavy protection from the Pakistan Army, with both Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists and plainclothes Pakistani military personnel assigned to his security.  


The National Investigation Agency (NIA) had charge-sheeted Qatal in connection with the 2023 Dhangri terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district, which resulted in the deaths of seven civilians. Thirteen others were injured.





Baloch insurgents claim 90 killed in attack on Pakistani military convoy

Baloch insurgents claim 90 Pakistani soldiers were killed in an attack on a Pakistani military convoy on Sunday by the Baloch Liberation Army.  


At least seven Pakistani soldiers were killed and 21 injured after their convoy, travelling from Quetta to Taftan, was attacked on Sunday. While official sources confirmed seven deaths, the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) claimed responsibility for the attack, alleging that 90 military personnel had been killed.


A statement by a Pakistani official said, “A security forces convoy travelling from Quetta to Taftan was attacked. 

The convoy, consisting of seven buses and two vehicles, was targeted. One of the buses was hit by a vehicle loaded with IEDs, possibly a suicide attack, while another was targeted by Rocket-Propelled Grenades (RPGs).”

“The Majeed Brigade, the Fidayee unit of the Baloch Liberation Army, targeted a convoy of the occupying Pakistani military a few hours ago in a VBIED Fidayee attack near Rakhshan Mill on the RCD Highway in Noshki. The convoy consisted of eight buses, one of which was completely destroyed in the explosion,” a statement by the BLA said.
