'Double standards' of "puppeteers" of Corridors of power ::::: Instructions sent overnight --- 'Ensure peace and calmness' in Ukhrul-Kamjong regions .... special funding will continue from Kohima ??

New Delhi is tasting the 'spate of ground situations' in Dimapur, Kohima, Ukhrul and Kamjong regions.

Google says - A spate of things means --- especially unpleasant things in a large number of them that happen or appear within a short period of time.

That Nagaland chief minister Neiphiu Rio has raised  Naga integration matter in 2025 has surprised analysts in Delhi. In fact in 2018, the NPF had flayed him for being opportunist.

"... Rio the incumbent Chief Minister of Nagaland recent statement declaring that Naga integration is not possible has come as a big blow to the Naga people and particularly when the Naga political talk is passing through a very critical stage.

So, it is a known fact, the Chief Minister has openly shattered the aspiration of the long-cherished demand of the Naga people to live as one.

The NPF is also shocked to see that the Chief Minister has openly declared that he supports the Citizenship Amendment Bill. In his statement, Rio has stated that Nagas are having enough protection and safeguard under Article 371 (A). Therefore, his PDA Government will not oppose the Bill. Perhaps, he is one the Chief Minister who has come out openly in support of the Bill." (as reported in 2018 based on NPF press release)

Dimapur and Kohima are in Nagaland state.

Ukhrul and Kamjong are in Manipur.

The North Bloc in Delhi has enlisted reports from ground zero and sent in instructions to security apparatus in four presumed 'vulnerable pockets'.

Tension or rather anxiety mounted on March 22, Saturday after the Khehohi camp was "taken over" by the ousted leadership of N Kitovi Zhimomi.

In June 2024 - after the formation of the new Govt (Modi Sarkar 3.0) and two months since the ouster of Kitovi vis-a-vis 'impeachment', the centre had reports that political elements had played a part in causing the split in NSCN-Unification and also the NNPG.

It did not require any rocket science for New Delhi to understand that the split in the NNPG suited the Status Quo club and hence the suspicion was always on the "puppet".

Now on March 23rd, sources revealed --

Double standards of 'selfish groups' stood exposed ---

Special instructions have been sent to community leaders  !!

** Nothing adverse should happen to people, community and even security forces in Ukhrul and Kamjong

Hence, New Delhi mandarins suggest that while securtity apparatus have been kept on high alert in Kohima and Dimapur "to prevent" any untoward incidents or clashes;

so far there is no necessity being felt to send in such instructions for Ukhrul and Kamjong regions.

An analyst on the condition of the anonymity explains:

"Master players and puppeteers are playing the game  like it is often played in Kerala or China... keep own backyards free from troubles and let us burn the village next door or even bit far off".

Hence sources say anxiety for last 24-72 hours is all about Kohima and Dimapur.

Elaborating further --- sources revealed - the 'Kheohi camp' development vis-a-vis Kitovi getting back his 'men and honour' is more crucial from a strategic point of view.

In 2022, the stakeholders and the key players of Status Quo club were even upset the day Kitovi's name figured prominently in national media.

The reference was to media reports based on Kitovi's interaction with a group of youths wherein he said -- "We ought to have the rule of law. People have to have rules that apply equally to everyone.

One cannot dream of Nagaland as a state where we pursue - my way or the highway".

Notably, the stakeholders and Status quo club were upset as Kitovi got some limelight which was previously the virtual monopoly of one or two leaders only.

Among a few queries, in 2022 Kitovi was also asked, "What makes you hopeful? Who do you see as the main gainers  from the Peace process?"

Kitovi's response was candid,

"I think everyone should gain. That's the whole purpose of the peace process.

The Nagas should be happy to live in peace, harmony and in development.

Let Prime Minister of India (Narendra Modi) also be happy that a major conflict has ended in his tenure. This is a new era for Nagas and the world community, we must show vision and statesmanship.

Everyone in the society and in the Naga region and beyond must be a beneficiary of our peace process and the Final Agreement".

From NNPG's side, he said some issues were very emotive and sensitive.

"But to resolve the problems, we have to respect the rule of law and constitutional limitations. We told Mr R N Ravi initially, we will cooperate
with you when it comes to your legal and constitutional positions, but the Government of India should respect the uniqueness of our case and be ready to be flexible".
