Prime Minister Narendra Modi plays with orangutan, feeds lion cub at Vantara animal shelter
In a video, Modi was seen closely interacting and spending time with various species of animals which have been rehabilitated there.
PM Modi tweeted: "An effort like Vantara is truly commendable, a vibrant example of our centuries old ethos of protecting those we share our planet with".

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is in Gujarat on his three-day tour, visited and inaugurated Anant Ambani’s Vantara, an animal rescue, conservation and rehabilitation centre, on Tuesday.
Vantara is home to more than 2,000 species and over 1.5 lakh rescued, endangered, and threatened animals. It is spread over 3000 acres in the Reliance Jamnagar refinery complex and is a state-of-the-art animal rescue and rehabilitation centre.
He was also seen playing with and feeding the animals, including orangutans, Asiatic Lion cubs, White Lion cub, and Clouded Leopard cub, which is a rare and endangered species, among others.
