The crisis in NSCN-IM deepens. In exercise of powers conferred upon key rebel leaders of the organisation have been expelled on July 7th "from the active membership of the National Socialist Council of Nagalim with immediate effect".
The individuals are
Lieut. Col. (Retd) Victor Angami, Member of Collective Leadership
Kikheto Chishi Swu, Kilonser
Ikato Chishi Swu, Executive Member of Steering Committee
Rev. Vitovi Yeptho, Deputy Kilonser
Pamshang Zimik, Deputy Kilonser and Angyo Jingseya, Tatar
"All rights, privileges and responsibilities associated with their membership stand terminated with immediate effect," said the order from president Q Tuccu.
