Punjab is set for assembly polls by March 2027. So is Uttar Pradesh. While Samajwadi Party is the chief competitor to the BJP in UP; in Punjab; the ruling AAP feels the Congress attempts of a come back must be thwarted.
On this backdrop comes the 'CJP protest' and the latest episode of utter chaos and arson the in high-security zone in the capital.

CJP has left India's Opposition in lurch:
The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) targets Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, but to the 'surprise' and 'not so surprise' to many -- it has left the 'disorganised Opposition' in the lurch. It has unnerved Congress.
Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray had in June 2026 praised new outfit founder Abhijit Dipke’s 'Marathi roots'.
But he also had ventilated a fear too that in a vast country like India even as there is a wide space for dissent, it is now being filled by the CJP.
As a result, the principal Opposition Congress is treading a careful path.
Of course, out of power since 2014 - the Congress wants a good issue. It also wants to "capitalize on the youth anger" over the NEET-UG paper leaks.
The Congress is, however, wary of fully endorsing the CJP movement.
They fear the demonstrations could overshadow the Congress party's own battle against Modi.

Some say it is possible that the CJP is not only an education/youth oriented game. In the government, many questions are being raised. One of them is vital.

A key allegation that resurfaced against Abhijeet Dipke in June 2026 was that he is an "ISI-paid asset". Several users, including BJP leader Tajinder Bagga, have shared a 2019 complaint that was filed by Legal Rights Observatory (LRO).
It accused Dipke of promoting Pakistan-linked narratives and provocative content. The complaint was filed as the Narendra Modi-led government abrogated Article 370. While everyone is talking about political sponsors behind the emergence of CJP; the role of NGO lobby/ecosystem should not be underestimated.

It is basically the overseas 'funding'. The sector can survive and thrive only when India is 'intellectually' dependent on western countries and various 'deep state' lobbies.
What is the newly floated Cockroach Janta Party (CJP's) long term and even short term agenda?
If CJP is emerging as a new political force of 2029? In objective sense it will be premature to directly answer these questions. Firstly because not many people would have the answers.

On July 20, 2026, the protest seemed to have lost the track. It turned out to be an anti-Modi protest but there was 'no control'.
The past experience of 2011 - that is the Anna Hazare protest movement against corruption will always be a reminder when we try to analyse matters related to a supposedly online-created new party.
In 2011, the anti-corruption crusade exposed Congress and made its position vulnerable politically; the major benefactor in the long term was the BJP.
The saffron outfit could capture power in 2014 under the leadership of Narendra Modi. There was another beneficiary -- the AAP of Arvind Kejriwal -- which could capture power in Delhi and ruled there between 2015 and 2025.
The whole story about the CJP is completely true and organic except those parts "which are totally made up". The stories in the town about CJP -- even from those who are working/associating with the organisation (if it is one already) are revolving around here-says.
This is making the CJP journey interesting but complex. By this logic, the CJP has inherent strengths and weaknesses too. By this confusion - one can take a modest poetic journey too.
The 'entire' thing about CJP looks like a TV advertisement... try to listen for what has not been stated at all.... and importantly;
........... please keep speaking about certain things which you have not heard of.

The CJP protest got a fresh boost when Sonam Wangchuk had sat for hunger strike. Hence, now the protest does not have a face. This is CJP's biggest failure and this would -- for a change - make both the BJP and the Congress happy.
