Fish-fry journalism 'focusing' only on Manipur; Ultimately Modi will get advantage ...... His voters will be inching closer to him

There are intellectuals and there are fish-fry inspired intellectuals. When West Bengal burns they will write a masterpiece on Sri Lanka and how Narendra Modi should not have gone to Somalia or hug the leader there and leave South Asia unguarded !

Imagine this, and how will fish-fry journalism 'cook up' a headline. Say a mob of two hundred people (non-Hindu group) gather in front of a building raising slogans where most are Hindu residents. Say in five-six flats residents start screaming 'Jai Shri Ram' essentially panic-stricken and praying; what will be the headline --

"Hindu residents threaten crowd with Jai Shri Ram slogans'.

Welcome to 'liberal journalism' !!

So when Bengal burns, they will ask questions on how is the ED or the CBI raiding opposition leaders. !  Bengal DGP is a sacred cow and a police official in Uttar Pradesh is a bigot.

They are pretender of 'seculars' and hence I call these people SICKULARISM gang !!

Sometime back their fish-fry journalism was experimented full steam in Tripura, 'aapa' was more than pleased as second and third grade channels focused how she is close to conquering the northeastern state -- why and how; the logic according to Quiz Masters' analysis -- just because there's substantial Bengali population there.

For long Bengali Hindu population suffered and tolerated Marxists' tyranny in Tripura !!

If you are in train compartment traveling into that state, better ensure who are your co-passengers before you say the BJP government in Tripura or the one in Delhi under Narendra Modi are doing well.

The Congress indifference was also responsible for these !! But the 'Hindu' population in Tripura especially the younger generation know one thing for certain now (presumably) -- why they are in Tripura 'essentially homeless or uprooted from their great grand father's native village'

... It was due to PARTITION !

During Left rule, 'Partition' was hardly discussed and even it was discussed it was confined to food habits and 'Sylheti or Noakhali lingua franca'.

It took many years but the BJP has able to convince an overwhelming Hindu Bengali population in Tripura that they will try to be 'friendly' to people who were forced out of home in 1947 and even after that ! The mandate in 2018 and 2023 could be attributed to these.

Trinamool Congress's forte has been Bengali Muslim voters. Tripura does not have much Bengali Muslim population and hence the Netas got it on their nose in 2023 polls and Fish Fry journalism were 'exposed'. Even Sushmita Dev, a daughter of a former MoS Home Santosh Mohan Dev often alleged for 'rigging' in Tripura, could not make Kolkata's Didi happy.

Over to fish-fry journalism, since March first week, have anyone found them ever discussing why Trinamool's performance was so bad in Tripura and why did it contest in Goa -- but opted out of race from Manipur --- where it had some presence in the past.

Ting Tong, I mean intellectual silence !

The fish-fry journalism club in the past misled probably the entire northeast population especially tribals.

In 2019, this club was busy with two missions - giving 'zero' Lok Sabha seat to BJP in Bengal and making Rahul Gandhi's India's Prime Minister.

And they also convinced 'quiz masters' that yes, "mone hoe Didi post ta paabey (We think Mamata Banerjee will be PM)".

I can assure that half of the fish-fry journalism --- male or female -- will give 'intellectual look' and gestures even as their knowledge and love for northeast could be 'Shillong is a good tourist haven' and "Yes, 20 years back my grand father visited Kamakhya temple in Guwahati".

During our younger times in Kohima, 'fish-fry' journalism variety would send 'feature writers' and two night halt in Kohima; they became 'Nagaland experts' !

Some were even later asked not to revisit the state !

Now in 2023,  the 'fish-fry' club and SICKULARISM gang in Delhi (some in TV -- 'nothing doing' club -- they tried to befriend Himanta when ownership changed) are back circulating the theory Modi is finished -- because he could not handle Manipur.

Vote effectively campaign in Aizawl: 2018

Of course the crisis in Manipur is very serious. The ethnic clashes between Meiteis and Kukis have all complexities both socio-political and historical.

The 'English' newspaper columnists are filling the edit pages lecturing the nation and the world that Manipur will turn the tide in favour of the conglomeration of 26 parties !  On Sunday, I was surprised to get glace of SICKULAR gyan from an experienced columnist -- If Rahul Gandhi could visit Manipur, even PM Modi can and should.

The security situation in Manipur is something beyond comprehension. Women have been virtually weaponised and soldiers say women mob is working in cahoot with 'rioters'.  I will share more on this in a subsequent blog.

Delhi has a 'judgadu club'. They are immensely "unhappy" since 2014. Modi has stopped everything even 'juicy' beat (journalism) has become 'I also cover type' standard -- or sub-standard.

Some journalists/columnists never retire! Is it love for journalism alone?

This club also wants 'downfall' of the regime under Modi -- which otherwise believes Social Media is more important.

I am all for media-power; but let us earn it our own way -- hard way !!

Many senior journalists have in the past criticised the manner we want  government(s) to ensure that we have good post-retirement insurance schemes etc. I agree with them, though we could be in minority. The question is -- if the Government doles out those favours; how can you take a stand against such a dispensation.

Now politically, the BJP poll strategists believe 'Manipur is unsafe for women' will not influence voters in northern India or other major states.

So, they have given a spin and has been now trying to focus on such poor conditions in Rajasthan (a Congress-ruled state) and also West Bengal --- where inherently there is a club which glorifies 'Teestas'. Even poems came out in 2002.

Frankly, lawlessness and safety and security of women in all three states Manipur, Bengal and Rajasthan or any other state are serious matters.

But 'fish-fry' and jugadus think otherwise or possibly even made to think otherwise.

I will give a few examples when their 'expertise' failed.

During Covid lockdown; these experts banked a lot on a terminology called 'migrant workers'. They presumed  Narendra Modi will be finished.

Prior to that Noteban and Gabbar Singh Tax (again by India's most intellectual and promising politician ??) came about and went on.

They posed serious political challenge to Modi --- but he and his team braved through.

Mob lynching charge was used against Congress vis-a-vis 1984. Other opposition leaders find this as a bitter pill.

Under communists in Bengal, there were many incidents including killing of Ananda Margis. The fish-fry club will have memory lapse and more than half of Jugadu club may not know such episodes. In Delhi, I have met northeast experts who stunned me when they say, "I know northeast....I have been to Kishanganj".

When I countered, Kishanganj is in Bihar. He/she did not give up. "Padai likhai kia hae .... (Arey all trains to north east go via north east)".  Please take a break. You must be sweating.
