Pak terrorist Masood Azhar enrolls sisters, other women into Terrorism : Female Jehadis to go 'straight to heaven' ... they claim to preach

This may appear ridiculous.

Pakistan-based terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed is raising a "female brigade".

Reports from Pakistan said the aim of terror kingpin Masood Azhar is to 'counter Hindu women' and women journalists in India.

Jaish founder Masood Azhar has said this at Markaz Usman-o-Ali in Bahawalpur.  Azhar, who was released after an Indian Airlines Flight (IC814) en route from Kathmandu in Nepal to New Delhi was hijacked,  detailed plans for the proposed brigade, saying that cadres will be given specialised training and will join a global jihad.

Azhar has appointed his sister Sadiya as head of brigade; other sister Samaira is also part of the Jamat.

Interestingly, countering Pakistani claims of cracking down on terror, Azhar announced that Jamat-ul-Mominat branches will be established in every district of Pakistan.

Afeera Farooq, widow of Pulwama attacker Umar Farooq, is also part of the same women Jehadi leadership.  Members of Jamat-ul-Mominat will undergo a 15-day "Daura-e Tas kiya" course to be conducted at Mar kaz Usman-o-Ali in Bahawalpur: This will be followed by another two week course to teach them jihad.

After spending years in hiding, Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) chief Masood Azhar has resurfaced in Pakistan, triggering fresh concerns. His voice is once again booming through encrypted Jaish channels, calling followers to rise for a “new jihad” and rebuild the group’s lost network.

India also blames Azhar for Pulwama and Pathankot terror attacks.

In 1990 when Azhar was released; the ill-fated hijacked plane was taken to Kandahar. The hub was then controlled by the Taliban, which was supported by Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence. Masood Azhar was one of the three militants demanded to be released in exchange for freeing the hostages.

BBC News once described him as "the man who brought jihad to Britain". On My 1, 2019, he was listed as an international terrorist by the United Nations Security Council (UNSC).

According to intelligence agencies; Masood Azhar and his family were also linked to a network of digital wallets used to finance Jaish-e-Mohammed’s (JeM) operations.

These wallets, operating through platforms such as EasyPaisa and SadaPay, were allegedly managed by Azhar’s son Abdullah Azhar, his brother Talha Al Saif, and other senior JeM figures.

This method is also described as a form of  'Digital hawala'.

Indian Security Forces

During Operation Sindoor in May 2025, Indian forces conducted strikes in Bahawalpur, Pakistan, in which an estimated 10 members of Masood Azhar's family were killed, with one Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) commander admitting that the family was ...

....  "torn into pieces".
