'No one wants hope' --- is half a dialogue from web series 'The Beast in me'. But somehow take a closer look .... this half a sentence makes a complete statement on the state of affairs in Nagaland.
And thus the Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio ... needs to sit back; and play a game-changer.

| Do .... Can Do Moment |
But before we deal into what the 'neo-doyen' of regionalism should do or may do ... let us take a closer view at what some others are saying.
At the press conference in Dimapur on Nov 13th, Thursday -- Naga Hoho president Sulanthang Lotha said :
* Naga Hoho follows the 'philosophy' of legendary A Z Phizo.
** Nagas are one ... wherever we are.
*** "There is a confusion in Nagas of Nagaland .... I appeal to all the tribals Hohos of Nagaland to come and join the Naga Hoho so that we will work together for the common people".
He also stated -- "The Naga Hoho has decided that we will support .... on issue based. On the basis of that we are working for the Common Solution."
Lotha clarified .. now the onus is with the Govt of India to give final Solution because two foundation pacts - the Agreed Position and the Framework Agreement have been signed.
"We are for one Agreement .. One Solution".
** I hope the Govt of India is very sincere now.
*** "We have Trust Deficit among the Nagas .... Let us create a feeling of oneness".

| Blogger and Sulanthang Lotha |
He was little diplomatic but truthful.
"Those who are against us ... we will pray for them so that God will answer them" - Sulanthang said.
In two previous blogs I have discussed at length on other intricacies as highlighted by L Khekiye Sema, a retired civil servant and Theja Therieh, a social activist.
Now comes the operative part -- what should Honourable chief minister do on Nov 18th.
He should play the real catalyst for an early Solution.
Rio should attend the Common Platform ... and be part of the 'stage' created by the initiatives of GB Federation and a few public spirited individuals.
This is a golden opportunity for him to nullify all the slackness and floppy approaches displayed by his Govt vis-a-vis an early Solution and expedite the process of reaching the final Peace pact.
This sincere suggestion is coming from perhaps the worst critic of yours in recent times. I have attacked you almost on daily basis and at times -- believe me - I did so even against my personal will.
Situations demanded. Your government's fault-lines created such a situation that as a sincere pro-Solution protagonist; I was left with no other option.
Did I compromise on my role as a blogger ... who has lived in Nagaland and who wants Naga youths to join the mainstream for Development and Peace ?
And this suggestion from me comes with utter sincerity. Finally, it's your call ...
-- Take it or Leave it.
But once you attend the meeting and preferably you should not be accompanied by any minister or your so called advisors - I tell you Mr Rio; your stature will go up.
Tell Naga people and the rest of the world - you are for an early Solution... the "Solution at the earliest" if we may say so.
This should be followed by subsequent right steps. You know things much better than any one else.
You may be laughing ... not because I am joking, but because I am deadly serious.
I have seen your children when they were much young ... and I tell you ... you do the unexpected thing on Nov 18th .... your children and grand children will have something to cherish ... a rich legacy.
Do not be overawed .. what will your "other friends" do and think. Most of them have used and exploited you.
You are in that position ... largely because you were so much tolerant. Your old script is stale. The political strategy you have adopted always runs the risk of blowing up.
