America's 'deep state' alarmed by Awami League's successful campaign 'No Boat, No Election' :::: Jehadists and others conspired to "punish" Sheikh Hasina for her clear pro-India stance

America's 'deep state' alarmed by Awami League's successful campaign 'No Boar, No Election'  !!  Are they already playing with good old power of English rhetoric ...

... they have achieved first target -- To be hanged sentence against Sheikh Hasina ...

They will do more.  Western media will be hyper active ...

One such article penned recently says :

"The 2026 general election is not just an administrative task; it is a historic opportunity to redefine Bangladesh's democratic identity."  The above article referred here is written by a former US diplomat is Jon Danilowicz.

"The current phase of Bangladesh's democratic journey that began with the August 2024 collapse of Sheikh Hasina's autocratic regime will culminate in the February 2026 general election.

"This election will do more than simply transfer power; it will demonstrate whether Bangladesh has renewed its democratic spirit after years of turbulence and deficit. The election will be judged not only by its procedural credibility, but also by the actual and perceived quantity and quality of public participation." -- writes Jon.

This is a classic case of interference by the western powers.

Jon and his other intellectuals simply forget the Yunus regime is hardly a democratic set up.

The pretender of an economist Yunus is a well known western or rather anti-India and anti-Awami League mole. Yunus was given charge of the country three days after there was no government in the country as the incumbent and elected PM Sheikh Hasina came to power.  After August 5th 2024 - as Sheikh Hasina flow out to India; for that brief spell for all practical purpose the Army chief ran the show.

Yunus took charge on Aug 8 and by the true spirit of the Constitution; within 90 days the general elections were to be hold.

The caretaker regime failed to do so.

The causes were multiples -- one of them was law and order situation.

Secondly, Yunus was not sure how would the voters exercise their franchise. The so-called new party NCP had not taken any concretized shape.  Perhaps Yunus does not want BNP and (or) Jamaat come to power with a good mandate. Then his job will be at stake.

And thirdly, if Yunus has to go so 'early' ---- then the 'deep state's conspiracy' would remain half-done.

(Kissinger's power grew during the turmoil of Watergate, when the politically attuned diplomat assumed a role akin to co-president to the weakened Nixon.)

Hence in 2025 -- the former US diplomat writes all these things about Feb 2026 elections in Bangladesh.

Sample this yet again ...

"Their recent slogan of "No boat, no vote," which is being dramatically boosted across social media with advertising and coordinated amplification, has yet to be effectively challenged by a counter-narrative ....," says Jon.

He even mildly recommends that the Awami League supporters and party cadres may be barred from voting.

Note what he says : "the fugitive Awami League leadership and their supporters, whose right to vote has not been curtailed".

Then he does the sermon talk .. the western paid workers think they have a legitimacy to do so --

"Put starkly, without an effective counter (to Awami League's campaign), the emerging dominant narrative at home and abroad risks becoming not one of democratic renewal, but of over-amplified Awami League disinformation, framing Bangladesh as a country trapped in mobocracy, societal disorder, and extortion.

"It is not simply the case that Bangladesh risks losing the information war, but more that it has unilaterally disarmed, with pro-democracy forces ceding the field to those driving the Awami League's narrative."

For them the 'pro-democracy force' suits Yunus and his floated NCP party.

"Right now, there exists no effective counter-narrative to stem the flow of disinformation and assure the Bangladeshi electorate that the February 2026 election will be different from before," says Jon.

Amid these; all eyes are on India. On Bangladesh front - New Delhi has to deal with tough diplomatic challenges from the US, Pakistan as well as China.

The culture, history, and geography have molded the India and Bangladesh ties. But it is well known today that the 'anti-India elements' have gained ground and have been encouraged by the Yunus regime too.

There have been increase in attacks on Hindu temples in Bangladesh. New delhi has backed out from a trans-shipment facility that permitted exports from Bangladesh to enter other countries through Indian borders.

This move impacted Bangladesh’s trade especially in the garment arena as it will give rise to cost of logistical operations.

New Delhi may take a few measures to bring things to normalcy. But Dhaka has to make a new beginning. And this cannot be done by their enhanced defence engagements with Pakistan.

Glass is sometimes 'half empty' and at times 'half full'
