"Now, on 25th November (2025) in Ayodhya, after ending 500 years of oppression, the construction of a grand temple for Lord Shri Ram will see the saffron flag flying atop it," UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath said.
He also said on that day, PM Narendra Modi will arrive in Ayodhya and attend the function.
Addressing a large gathering at Barabanki, Yogi Adityanath said:
"This is not a mere coincidence; it is a year foretelling a new India.
"On one hand, the 150th anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, a symbol of India's unity, has been celebrated. Alongside this, India’s national song, Vande Mataram, also marks its 150th year since its composition.
On this occasion, all citizens have the opportunity to participate in a program organised on the 150th birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda, who gave our tribal community a new identity and sacrificed his life to awaken national consciousness.
This year also marks 75 years since Baba Saheb Ambedkar handed over the final draft of the constitution to the Constituent Assembly on 26 November 1949.
In one year, many events happen. Notably, we all attended the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj earlier this year."
Yogi launched the Ekta Yatra in Kursi Assembly on Sardar Patel's birth anniversary, and also kick-started Rs 1,734 crore worth of development projects for the Barabanki region.
