Over 2,000 bike riders from across India participated in this three-day event held from January 31 to February 2


On the Final day, more than 200 riders rode from Dhordo to Dholavira on their bikes, creating a spectacular view on the ‘Road Through Heaven’*

India’s longest-running and most prestigious motorcycling event, BOBMC Rider Mania 2025, was held this year in Gujarat at the Rann Utsav in Kutch. The 22nd edition of BOBMC Rider Mania was organised from January 31 to February 2, 2025, in Dhordo, which was recognized as a ‘Best Tourism Village’ by the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO). 

The event saw participation from over 2,000 bike riders from various states across the country including Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Himachal Pradesh, besides the Northeastern states like Mizoram, Tripura, and Arunachal Pradesh. 


Additionally, riders from Nepal and Bhutan also participated in this grand three-day motorcycling event. At the event, Dr Rajender Kumar, Tourism Secretary of Gujarat, stated, “Gujarat has world-class robust infrastructure and roads. It also has diverse landscapes, making it an ideal biking destination. 

I encourage all bikers to come and experience a journey along the most scenic road to the world's most serene destination.” 


This motorcycling event will boost tourism in Gujarat, especially adventure tourism. It will also highlight Gujarat as a destination for off-roading, solo riding, and other biking activities.


BOBMC Rider Mania is one of India’s most prestigious motorcycling events, organized annually for the past 22 years. Hosted by a prominent biking club, this year, it was organized by the Bullet Battalion Club, a well-known Royal Enfield enthusiast group. BOBMC is a biker community, and Rider Mania is its flagship event. 

This is the first time the event has been held in Gujarat.




*Miss India Runner-Up Rekha Pandey Joins Rider Mania 2025*

Runner-up of Miss India beauty pageant Rekha Pandey, who participated in Rider Mania 2025 as a biker said, “Gujarat is the best place for solo riding and women travellers.” Several other female riders from various states also participated in the event, besides a few specially-abled bikers who travelled to Dhordo on their motorcycles. 

These riders also explored Kalo Dungar, Koteshwar, and other tourist spots. After the event, different groups of riders will travel to various parts of Gujarat, including Saurashtra, North Gujarat, and South Gujarat. After that, they will commence their return journey.


*Exciting activities at BOBMC Rider Mania 2025*

The three-day event featured various motorcycling activities such as Short-track racing, Slow bike competition and Vintage Motorcycle Show.  

The event also included cultural programs, live music shows, food stalls, tug-of-war, and arm-wrestling competitions making it a thrilling experience for motorcycle enthusiasts. 




The cultural program featured performances representing Gujarati traditions, such as Garba and Talwar Raas (sword dance). Bikers from across India also enjoyed Gujarati cuisine and its warm hospitality. 


Many participants explored the nearby tourist attractions. They were all praised for the stunning setup at the Rann Utsav, the breathtaking beauty of the White Desert, and the well-organised arrangements at the Tent City.


Krunal Bhatiya, a participant from Indore, said, “We had an amazing time in Gujarat. The hospitality was excellent, and the roads were perfect for biking. Rider Mania was a fantastic experience, and I am 100% satisfied. I thank the Gujarat government for hosting this event.” 


A group of five women riders from Arunachal Pradesh, representing the ‘Arunachal Bullet Club,’ also participated in Rider Mania 2025. Interestingly, their journey started from Kibithu (India’s easternmost point) and ended at Koteshwar (India’s westernmost point). Rakhi Agamdui, a member of this club shared, “It was our first time participating in Rider Mania. 


Our journey from Kibithu to Gujarat was incredible. The people of Gujarat were very helpful, guiding us whenever we lost our way. We are truly grateful to the Rider Mania Committee and the people of Gujarat.”


*200+ Bikers Ride from Dhordo to Dholavira on ‘Road Through Heaven’*

On the final day of the event, over 200 bikers embarked on a thrilling journey from Dhordo to Dholavira via the ‘Road Through Heaven’. 

The spectacular sight of motorcycles riding through the breathtaking landscape was mesmerizing, leaving spectators in awe. Visitors clicked photographs and fully immersed themselves in the scenic beauty of this unique road.
