PM Narendra Modi had a "very good meeting" with Elon Musk in Washington DC and they discussed various issues, including those he is passionate about such as space, mobility, technology and innovation.
"I talked about India’s efforts towards reform and furthering ‘Minimum Government, Maximum Governance," the Prime Minister wrote on X -- incidentally owned by Elon Musk himself.
The Tesla CEO arrived at Blair House with his three children to meet and hold talks with Modi. A video that surfaced online also showed the tech billionaire giving a gift to the Prime Minister.
In another missive Modi wrote: It was also a delight to meet Mr. Elon Musk’s family and to talk about a wide range of subjects!
On Friday, PM Modi will hold a delegation-level meeting with Trump and key members of his Cabinet at the White House followed by bilateral talks. It will be followed by a joint press conference and a dinner hosted by the US President.
The talks between the two leaders, who shared warm relations during Trump's first term as President, will be keenly watched.
