A Mandate for Modi and BJP ..... but it is also for forced retirement

After Maharashtra election win, Sevendra Fadnavis reiterated: ‘Baaz ki asli udaan baaki hai...”

The real flight of the race is yet to be made. Ans such a remark needs to be studied closely.

The mandate in Maharashtra is for BJP and Narendra Modi certainly. But it is for forced retirement of Sharad Pawar whose vice like in Maharashtra's corridors of power comes to an end.

The mandate is a punishment for Uddhav Thackeray for abandoning Hindutva.

With the BJP registering a massive win on 130 seats and emerging as the party with biggest chunk of the pie, the focus has now shifted to who will be the next Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Devendra Fadnavis, who played deputy to Eknath Shinde in the 2.5 years of governance since 2022, has played a decisive role in 2024 Assembly polls win.

The 127-second video began with Fadnavis’ now viral 2019 speech where he promised to make a comeback.

"Mera paani utarte dekh kinare par ghar mat bana lena, main samandar hoon, laut kar vapis aaunga (Thinking the tide has ebbed, don't you dare build your house on the coast; for I am the sea, and I will come back)," Fadnavis said, quoting a famous couplet.

The remark was made in the Maharashtra Assembly in December 2019, as Fadnavis sat in Opposition against former ally, Shiv Sena.

The clip went viral on Saturday as Mahayuti registered a landslide victory in Maharashtra, with BJP alone grabbing 130 seats.

As BJP celebrated the poll win, Fadnavis shared a montage of moments that quoted the late Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi as well.

"Moving Towards One Party, One Nation": Uddhav Thackeray On BJP Victory

Maharashtra Assembly Election Results 2024: "Cannot believe Maharashtra, which listened to me as head of family during COVID, will behave with me this way" said Uddhav Thackeray.

Uddhav Thackeray, former Chief Minister of Maharashtra, who just lost the biggest prestige battle of his life, appeared shell-shocked after the stunning reverse.

"Cannot believe Maharashtra, which listened to me as head of family during COVID, will behave with me this way... How could they (the ruling alliance) win so many seats in just a matter of four months? Where did they light candles for such a result?" said the 64-year-old.
