If Kohima is 'puppet' .... Whose Puppet NDPP-BJP regime has been ...New Delhi knows !! "Financial pampering" may be Discouraged :::: Centre unnerved by "hypocrisy and double standards of stakeholders" :::: Someone called Village Elders .. pro-India .... but 'protege Neta in Kohima' is well-wisher

Whose Puppet NDPP-BJP regime has been ... New Delhi knows !!

A critical line has gone and it was predicted in a previous blog. The criticism against Gaon Burrahs, the Naga Village elders is that the federation (NGBF) is being pro-Indian.

Mr Neiphiu Rio, the sitting Chief Minister sharing power with the BJP and holding office at the pleasure of the state Governor is what ?

Giving a long rope from New Delhi was not a sign of weakness. It was to achieve a greater purpose of Peace, Progress and Harmony !!

And, what are your credentials Mr Chingwang Konyak -- a former Minister and a former Member of Parliament.

Your reputation is at stake. "Shri Chingwank Konyak has worked closely with the likes of Hokishe Sema ... today where do you stand ?," asks someone in the know of things.

What leaders like Hokishe will think from above?

Under the changed circumstances, New Delhi analysts are furious and trying to build up a strong argument to face the people of India and the northeast India especially Nagas.

Who is more pro-India ... Rio Cabinet or Village Elders: Shah must solve the puzzle

Mandarins are exchanging notes.

"Intellectual arrogance and twisting facts and history in the line of  communists variety are most disturbing things," - goes a refrain.

One refrain is -- Liberal Financial Pampering of Kohima from Delhi has almost boomeranged.

Time for Union Ministry of Finance, Niti Aayog and DoNER ministry to review policy and projects.

Moreover, the ED and other agencies may be set free -- the idea is being talked in the North Bloc yet again.

Another refrain is -- did Naga people within the state of Nagaland or outside give any mandate to any organisation to amass wealth and protect their selfish  interests by delaying Solution.

March 20, 2025 meeting was well attended by respected organisations especially within the state of Nagaland.

Probably, the Mandate of March 20, 2025 was loud and clear.

One Assam-based senior analyst has thrown in a question in her 'internal note'

-- If NSCN-IM does not trust Village Elders, the NGBF calling it pro-Govt and pro-India; do they trust Nagaland Sate Govt and Chief Minister Rio ?

Actually perhaps never a serving Chief Minister in Nagaland or in any northeastern state left so much red-faced.

Did he not take oath to safe guard Constitutional propriety ?

And if a Chief Minister is not pro-India; should he not be served a show cause notice from Raj Bhavan or any other appropriate authority ?

"Why all Naga underground factions not uniting themselves and the Naga people in general in all four states and accept to honour a Common Draft ?"

 ## Why an intellectual arrogance - One note from Manipur reportedly claimed.

Further argument goes --- The truth of the matter is some vested interests are only trying to "keep the flock together" by harping on a document signed in August 2015.

What is of "larger interest" of Nagas ? - A Solution ? or a consistent debate on what is not practical?

It's also a sign of utter nervousness of some individuals and groups that the support base may collapse or has already collapsed both in Manipur and the state of Nagaland.

Importantly,  the Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF) statement was too strong and biiter and it also exposed the sheer tribalism of one community and group.

This is in reference to:

"The ongoing progress of the Zeliangrong political talk with the GOI for a separate homeland has provoked NSCN-IM  resentment and opposition as the ZPC movement has been carried forward by Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF) at the National level." - ZUF (on March 19, 2025)

What could be the reason that some people are so allergic or scared about  'common draft' ?

A realisation has drawn - enough of violence and blame giving.

New Delhi feels - the bullet-less and bloodless Transfer of power in Khehohi camp on March 22 actually demonstrates common Naga people's big picture message -

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

'Common Naga interests can be projected best by a Common Draft ....

Peace, Solution and Living in Harmony should be guiding themes in the new century.

Any other argument is only projecting parochial self-interests of one or two community and that also outside the geographical boundary of the 16th state of Indian union, says another note.
