There are many problems in life. Even a mom's love for son is at times a problem. It could be linked to politics vis-a-vis Sonia Gandhi and it is also linked to other features of life.
One observation in recent times is "Prime Minister's speech was lengthy and boring" ! Yes such commentary is linked to SICKULARISM ! Well, at the end of this blog piece we have dealt how the Opposition Congress, other parties and their 'liberal' ecosystem expected the Prime Minister to do !!
Who'll crack the 'Modi-Shah' Code? |
There are two types of BJP fans and Narendra Modi admirers; -- one - they would want everyone to attack Congress and other opposition parties and perhaps on every occasion.
But a core support base wants Narendra Modi himself to do it --- with his fingers or facial gestures. The theatrics if any goes down well with this section. It is fairly large and they enjoy most if the knockout punch is from the Prime Minister."Hum paanch hamare pachees" was such in 2002.
The Prime Minister knows why he is 'popular' among this section of Bhakts and so more than once he will create one-liners and recreate the phrases.
"Shehzadey" did go well in 2014 campaign. This time more innovative, his admirers say, so far is the "Ghamandia" jibe at the I.N.D.I.A combine.
Another slogan we are likely to hear time and again is - 'Congress - No Confidence'. It will sound 'bad' for Congress, the dynasty and also parties such as Quiz Master-talented ones.
On the other hand, Amit Shah as Home Minister and Modi's lieutenant cleverly avoided being harsh during Lok Sabha debate on No Confidence motion beyond a point. He did not make any blistering attack in the raw sense. That was left for Modi and this was a match winner.
Contrary to these, despite all armoury in their command, the Opposition plunged into the Lok Sabha battle with no homework. They did not know how to face the 'voting' and 'division'.
On the other hand, the session "reinforced the rise of Shah as an adept parliamentarian", says an article in 'Indian Express' -- hardly a pro-BJP newspaper. Of course an one-time-Modi-admirer-turned-Modi bashing club one liner also we have, and that says - "His (Modi's) flock) in Parliament is made up of people who believe that he is demigod....".
This is what happens frustration catches you at some weak point of persona and life. Contrary to what has been stated 'sickularly' -- if any body think/thought that their boss is 'demigod'; they sit on the opposition benches. A mere stay order from Supreme Court to the 'conviction' order made them think our Crown Prince has arrived.
Both Shah and Modi on their part ''unlike demigod" feeling; came well prepared with their 'lengthy' speech materials. They showcased Modi government's achievements as the No Confidence debate gave them an ample opportunity and two vocal women leaders Smriti Irani and Nirmala Sitharaman were also put in with clear briefings.
The Finance Minister particularly did well with her listing out economic graph and also use of effective phrases such as 'Banks mein failaya hua aapka raita hum saaf kar rahe hai'". She also said how Indians now think 'aa gaya' and 'ban gaya'. At least for infrastructures, the road between Meerut and New Delhi is one such 'ban gaya' story !
Ms Nirmala Sitharaman also revived the 'debate' on Tamil Nadu's onetime infamous Language Row. "For many years, in the name of opposing ‘Hindi imposition’, there is a practice of not allowing the study of Hindi & Sanskrit in Tamil Nadu," alleged the Finance Minister."You have every right to develop the Tamil Language. But you don’t have the right to prevent those who are willing to learn Hindi or Sanskrit".
Likewise, vocal Arunachal Pradesh lawmaker and Union Minister Kiren Rijiju was also fielded.
Bengal Congress's mass leader: Adhir |
On the other hand, articulate Kerala MP, Shashi Tharoor was not given time. Even floor leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury was constantly humiliated. He was disallowed tabling the motion justbecause the Kolkata lady will not be happy. Then he was not allowed 'time' from Congress quota.
Both Shah and Modi showed 'generosity' and requested Speaker Om Birla to give him 'time' fromthe BJP quota.
Already a frustrated Adhir lost his balance and made a mess. Modi rightly said, 'gobar'(cow dung) was made out of the time ! Then, when he was suspended, suddenly entire Opposition including Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress remembered Adhir Chowdhury's pride ! That's 'I.N.D.I.A' !! (Shakespeare was more than right - what's in a name?)
Thus, when the historic triple Bills were introduced on August 11 seeking to replace IPC, CrPC code and Evidence Act; the opposition parties were somewhere else.
The big problem with the Opposition camp is their darbaris and 'ecosystem' will never tell them what is wrong! Ask Mukul Sangma, and he can tell how 'fish-fry journalism' made him spoil his career !!
Next day, Rahul Gandhi appeared at a press conference. Did anyone ask him how and why things were mishandled?
Instead still the songs -- Modi was cracking jokes. Still a repeat oneliner - why Manipur did not figure in Modi's speech for the first 90 minutes. Who is showing 'intolerance' ? Do intellectuals and media behave like this?
Should the opposition decide what the Prime Minister should say? Did they expect his speech should have gone to AICC headquarter or 10 Janpath first or may be even to Quiz Masters of Kolkata?
It appears the Opposition and its fish-fry journalism club wanted Modi to say three things ----'Biren Singh is wrong and he is resigning'-- 'Amit Shah is wrong and I am sacking him'-- "I am wrong, and I am ready to quit and Rahul Gandhi should immediately take charge to save India's democracy".
Ping Pong, 'click click' !!
Silly point, Quiz Masters and the admirers of theory, 'we are always right'. Look at what Raghav Chadha made out of himself in Rajya Sabha -- taking five BJP and NDA MPs' names including a woman S Phangnon Konyak (Nagaland) without their consent.
The Congress again needs a memory-related capsule. They did not have only an 'accidental Prime Minister'; their incumbent AICC president Mr Malikarjun Kharge is also 'accidental'.
Had Ashok Gehlot agreed to make way for Sachin Pilot, by now the party president would have been Mr Ghelot and not Mr Kharge.
Dimapur Congress workers and supporters in Nagaland still wonder why he disallowed Shashi Tharoor to attend the election rally in February ?
That Mr Kharge now says Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury was suspended because he is also PAC chairman and that "the government wants him not to participate in PAC deliberations". Surely, a 'discovery' by the talented team.
Forget all that you have read above. Go to northeast or elsewhere in India, some newspapers by now have decided to 'decline to report on what PM Modi said about the Aizawl bombing of 1966'.
Why drag 1966 to justify 2023?
Another newspaper claims their survey has revealed that over 80 percent of those surveyed had said the Opposition could corner the government on Manipur during the recent Monsoon session.
Do we have 'laughter sessions' between monsoon and autumn?
PS: However, the same columnist in the same newspaper admits: "The fact that India did not progress as fast as Southeast Asia under the socialist, secular rule of the Dynasty is true .....There is no question that the average Indian voter feels that his life has improved since Modi became Prime Minister which is he has won twice with a full majority".
ends
Fish fry journalism is a nice mononym. Actually they ate al headless chickens who do not have an iota of idea of love for the country they live in.
