"You should also take note of the kind of statements the Congress is making on this sensitive issue. The remarks being made by Congress are dangerous,” PM Narendra Modi said at a rally in Palakkad.
He assured that for the government, the safety of Indians living in the region is the priority.
"The entire world is watching the ongoing war in West Asia. Our government is continuously working to ensure that its impact on India remains minimal.
Many people from Kerala are working in the conflict-affected regions. Since the war began, I have been in constant touch with the heads of all these countries. All nations are prioritising the safety of Indians stranded in war zones," the Prime Minister said.
"Our embassies are working round the clock to ensure that our brothers and sisters there do not face any hardship. Protecting the interests of Indians is the top priority of the BJP-NDA government.

He slammed the Marxist Govt in Kerala and added: "The state government is now burdened with a debt of over Rs 5 lakh crore. This debt has more than tripled in two years.

"When the NDA government comes to power, this money will go into the pockets of our own people, and will be used for the development of the people of Keralam...
For the last 10 years, no new industrial project has been started to provide employment to the people of the state".
Amid allegations being made by Congress that there is already a BJP-CPI-M deal in Kerala with the communists fielding weak candidates in some constituencies to help the Lotus party nominees, the Prime Minister said:
"These days, the communists and Congress have joined hands to start a new propaganda. The Communists says that the Congress is the B team of the BJP, and the Congress says that the Communists are the B team of the BJP".
