Mann Ki Baat, PM Narendra Modi says:
"There is no place for self-serving politics in this. Those spreading rumours are causing great harm to the country, and I appeal to everyone to stay alert and not be misled by misinformation".
"India is resolutely facing these challenges because of its global relations, assistance from different countries, and the capability the country has built over the past decade. This is undoubtedly a challenging time. Today, through 'Mann Ki Baat', I once again urge countrymen to get united and overcome this challenge."
"The region where the war is underway is a major hub of our energy needs, due to which a petrol and diesel crisis is developing worldwide. India is facing these challenges resolutely because of its global relations, assistance from different countries and the capabilities it has built over the past decade," he said.
"This is undoubtedly a challenging time ...Those indulging in politics over this issue should refrain, as it concerns the interests of 140 crore citizens."
Modi also said: "I often say, those who play will prosper. I feel happy seeing that the youth of the country are now taking up sports which were not so popular earlier...
I also got information about the Asmita Athletics League. Under this, many sporting events were organised on March 8, i.e., International Women's Day...
It is good to see that the women of India are playing an important role in this sporting transformation taking place in the country."
"People of Jammu and Kashmir have always been extra passionate for sports. I am happy that now this is becoming a hub for big sporting events.
Gulmarg has already made a place for itself in the Khelo India Winter Games.
Sports like football are also popular among youth here. I hope that in the coming days, the winning streak of Jammu and Kashmir will continue like this."
Modi also says, "Last month end, an interesting match was witnessed in Karnataka's Hubballi, where Jammu and Kashmir's cricket team won the Ranji Trophy.
The most gratifying aspect is that after a long wait of seven decades, this team won its first Ranji Trophy title. This unprecedented success is the result of years of continuous efforts by the players. Team captain Paras Dogra displayed exemplary skill.
"Today, the performance of young Kashmiri bowler Auquib Nabi, who took 60 wickets in the Ranji season, is also being discussed across the country. With this victory, the people of Jammu and Kashmir, along with players and coaching staff, are very excited.
"After this exemplary performance on the cricket ground, enthusiasm has increased among the youth there. In the coming days, this will inspire many young people to take up sports."
