End of Naxalism debate gives a powerful message: :::: "Naxalism spread because of Left" ::::::: "Russia through its sponsorship facilitated creation of Communist parties : Amit Shah :::: "How can a party - very foundation of which was laid by foreign players --- think Good about India"

Most hard-hitting attack on Communists ...

"yeh adarsh tay karne ke liye bhi foreign se import karten haen

(Even in the selection of their ideals, they resort to imports from abroad).

"Naxalism has spread precisely because of this Leftist ideology."

Sickularism will look for cover and 'bad excuses' !!

Russian government, through its sponsorship, facilitated the creation of communist parties : Amit Shah in Lok Sabha

“The root cause of Naxalism is not the demand for development. It is an ideology that Indira Gandhi embraced in 1970 to win the presidential election. Naxalism spread because of this Leftist ideology,” he said.

"Naxalism has been almost eradicated from Bastar, the region is now on the path of development"

Speaking in the Lok Sabha on the fight against Naxalism, Union Home Minister Amit Shah says,

"The moment a communist government was formed in Russia, the CPI-the Communist Party of India- was established here in 1925. The Russian government, through its sponsorship, facilitated the creation of communist parties across the entire world. A branch of this was established here in our country.

Now, how can a party—the very foundation of which was laid under the inspiration of a foreign nation—think about the best interests of our own country?

The CPI(M) was formed in 1964...In 1969, specifically to oppose parliamentary politics, the CPI (ML) was established.

Its objective was not to create a developmental vacuum, nor was it to protect rights.

The objective enshrined in its constitution was to carry out an armed revolution by opposing parliamentary politics."

He also said: "...This is our government's policy: talks will be held only with those who lay down their arms; those who use bullets will be answered with bullets."

"...We live in a democracy. We have adopted the Constitution of this nation... This is not a government that bows down to anyone's threats. This is a government committed to ensuring justice for all...".

Why didn't tribals grow?

Amit Shah shreds Congress

Naxalism is in its "last breath" and has nearly been wiped out under the Narendra Modi-led government.

Shah accused the Congress of sympathising with Maoist elements.

"...They (Naxalites) have no faith in democracy.

Several individuals here said that they are fighting against injustice.

But what exactly is your method of fighting?

We are no longer living under British colonial rule.

Some individuals have even gone so far as to draw comparisons with Bhagat Singh and Birsa Munda. What utter audacity is this?

You are comparing martyrs like Bhagat Singh and Birsa Munda, specifically Bhagwan Birsa Munda, who fought against the British Empire, with those who violate the Constitution, take up arms, and slaughter innocent people?

One must rise above narrow political self-interest when addressing such grave matters...".

He said more than 4,800 Naxals laid down their arms and took part in the government's rehabilitation programme. He said there were only two Naxal-affected districts in the country.

He also added that 706 Naxals alone were gunned down in the past three years, highlighting the government's aggressive approach towards ending Maoist violence.

Shah says, "They (the Naxals) did not regard Tilka Manjhi as their ideal. Nor did they consider Bhagwan Birsa Munda, Bhagat Singh, or Subhash Babu as their ideals. Whom, then, do they consider their ideal? Mao. Even in the selection of their ideals, they resort to imports from abroad."

The Home Minister said - 12 states- Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Bihar, Bengal, Kerala, parts of Karnataka, and three districts of Uttar Pradesh were affected.

"A complete 'Red Corridor' was formed, and the rule of law ended there.

Twelve crore people lived in poverty for years, and no one showed any concern. Thousands of young lives were lost.

Many were left permanently disabled or crippled for the rest of their lives. Who is responsible for this?...", the Home Minister asked.

Amit Shah said: "...Out of the 75 years since independence, power remained in your (Congress) hands for 60 years.

Why, then, have the tribal communities remained deprived of development to this day? It is only now, with the arrival of Narendra Modi, that actual development is taking place.

"For sixty years, you failed to provide them with homes or access to clean water; you built no schools for them; you prevented mobile towers and banking facilities from reaching their areas, and yet, now you are the ones demanding accountability?...", Shah said.

"To those who are acting as advocates for an armed movement, saying they fought against injustice. I ask:

If anyone faces injustice, Courts have been established; legislative assemblies, district councils, and tehsil have been constituted. I want to say that era is over. This is the government of Narendra Modi. Anyone who takes up arms will be held accountable. This kind of behaviour will not be tolerated.

The government is sensitive to these issues; it is willing to listen to all grievances and is committed to resolving them...".
