Country saw appeasement politics for long, we followed 'santushtikaran' not 'tushtikaran'; justice for all, appeasement to none: PM Modi

Congress has become a full-fledged par-jibi party: Modi

PM Narendra Modi says, "I remember an incident, there was a boy who scored 99 marks and he used to show it to everyone. When people heard 99, they used to encourage him a lot.

Then a teacher came and said why are you distributing sweets? He did not score 99 out of 100 but 99 out of 543. Now who will explain to that child that you have created a world record in failure."

Modi says, "This is the third biggest defeat in the history of Congress. It would have been better if Congress had accepted its defeat and respected the mandate of the people but they are busy doing some 'Sirsasana' and

Congress and its ecosystem are trying to establish in the minds of the citizens of India that they have defeated us...Bachhe ka mann behlane ka kaam chal raha hai."

"Our big campaign to lift over 25 crore people out of poverty brought us blessings"

When we came to power in 2014, we had said that we will have zero tolerance towards corruption. Corruption had ravaged the country like termites. However, the countrymen have blessed us for our zero tolerance approach to corruption," says PM Modi.

Narendra Modi says, "...The people who worship Article 370, those who have made it a weapon of vote bank politics, had made the condition of Jammu and Kashmir such that they had snatched the rights of the people there.

The Constitution of India could not enter the borders of J&K and the people who dance around with the Constitution on their heads here do not have the courage to implement it in J&K...It was the era of 370, stones were pelted on the Army and people used to say in despair that now nothing can happen in J&K.

Today the wall of Article 370 has fallen, stone pelting has stopped, democracy is strong and people are coming forward in large numbers to vote, trusting the Constitution of India, trusting the flag of India, trusting the democracy of India. It is clearly visible, that this confidence has been created in 140 crore countrymen..."

Mandate 2004 has proved that India is truly a democratic country: PM

"I can understand the pain of those people who despite propaganda have lost the polls".

The country has blessed us for our zero tolerance against corruption policy: PM

"The country has crossed a successful election campaign and showed the world that this was the world's biggest election campaign, in which people of the country have chosen us. I can understand the pain of some people that despite speaking lies, they faced crushing defeat," says PM Modi in reply to the Motion of Thanks on President's Address amid sloganeering by the opposition.

"...The country has blessed us for our zero-tolerance policy towards corruption. Today India's credibility has increased across the world...The sole aim of our every policy, every decision, every action has been India first." -- PM

Modi says, "...I assure the countrymen that we have taken the resolution of Viksit Bharat and we will make efforts to fulfil that resolution and we will do it with full dedication and honesty and we will spend every moment of our time to fulfil this resolution..."

Modi says, "...There was a period of scams when it was shamelessly accepted publicly that if 1 rupee is sent from Delhi, only 15 paise reaches. In 1 rupee, there is a scam of 85 paise. This world of scams had drowned the country in the depths of despair.

There was policy paralysis, we were in the fragile 5...If a poor person wants to buy a house, he had to give bribe of thousands of rupees. For gas connection, people had to make rounds to the MPs and even then they did not get a gas connection...".

BJP MP Jagdish Shettar commented on the situation in Karnataka, saying, "In Karnataka, there is an unstable government. Infighting between the chief minister and deputy chief minister shows that the government lacks stability. The chief minister has lost control over the administration. Corruption is rampant across the state, and people are suffering."

"Private investment not possible in an atmosphere of hatred.... Modi Govt working for peace, and progress of India" -- BJP MP Aparajita Sarangi

"In Feb 2024 before elections when Sonia Gandhi told me outside Parliament people like you should be in Parliament. I touched her feet. That's Indian culture" - #NishikantDubey #BJP on #RahulGandhi's remarks on Speaker #OmBirla

Addressing a meeting of the NDA parliamentary party, Modi called the Lok Sabha results a big win for the alliance. He added only the Opposition’s “arrogant alliance” or ghamandiya gathbandhan was reluctant to accept the verdict.

He said the alliance won in states such as Odisha, Sikkim, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh but the Opposition’s “arrogance” and “ego” prevented them from accepting the verdict, said a person aware of what transpired at the meeting.

A second person said Modi told NDA lawmakers that a family, an oblique reference to the Gandhis, have had a problem honouring Prime Ministers who do not belong to their clan. “He urged the lawmakers to visit the PM [Prime Ministers’] museum and get a first-hand account of how the BJP government has shown respect to PMs of all parties,” said a third person.

On being nominated as the NDA candidate from Bihar for Rajya Sabha, Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM) president Upendra Kushwaha said, "The NDA alliance has collectively taken this decision. I thank PM Modi, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, and all senior leaders of the NDA alliance."

Congress MP KC Venugopal says, "Delhi Airport roof collapsed, Jabalpur Airport roof collapse, Rajkot Airport canopy collapse, conditions of roads in Ayodhya is bad, leakage in Ram Mandir, cracks in Mumbai Harbour link road, three new bridges collapsed in Bihar, Pragati maidan tunnel submerged, all these constructions during the NDA period have collapsed.

Under their rule, every building is under the threat of collapsing... I am challenging the Prime Minister to inquire about the electoral bonds... One of the biggest scams the country ever saw is the electoral bond scam... ".

"We are in favour of caste census…We can never accept the Agniveer scheme. When the INDIA alliance comes to power, the Agniveer scheme will be scrapped...Legal guarantee of MSP on crops has not be implemented. Horticulture crops should also be given MSP..." says Akhilesh Yadav in Lok Sabha.
