"What Congress did during PM Modi's address today was condemnable. Congress was allotted 2.56 hours. Later, they asked for an extension of time, which was given to them.
In total, Congress was allotted 3.48 hours to speak in the House. During that period, they allowed only one of their Manipur MPs to speak. Congress deliberately didn't allow one of its Manipur MPs to speak in the House.
Meanwhile, it was decided yesterday that the PM will speak in the House today at 4 pm. And during the PM's speech, they claimed that the Manipur MP wasn't given time to speak," Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju told reporters.
On Wednesday, he tweeted: "It's extremely sad to see Congress creating disruption in the house whenever PM speaks. I hope today in Rajya Sabha, they'll have the courtesy to hear the reply of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri narendramodi Ji on the motion of thanks to Hon'ble President of India at 12 noon."
