Yoga as a basic tool to introduce positive vibes b/w health workers, medicos and patients : Silchar-based Cancer Hospital endorses Yoga as a vital tool

The Cachar Cancer Hospital and Research Centre (CCHRC) has decided to make use of Yoga as a basic tool to introduce positive vibes between health workers/medicos and the patients.


As a part of this move CCHRC has signed an MoU with Silchar-based 'Niramaya - A school of Yoga Education'.  

The CCHRC is a comprehensive cancer care facility located in the outskirts of Silchar town in the Barak Valley of Assam in northeast India.









The Silchar-based 'NIRAMAYA” Charitable Trust, started its journey in 2016. It conducts courses, classes, awareness programmes, workshops including different programmes on traditional and advanced yogic practices.

The organisation also trains and creates a team of dedicated and experienced teachers who can spread the philosophy of yoga far and wide.


It conducts research work in the field of yoga and also promote the activities and courses of the Yoga Certificate Boards (YCB) (Ayush ministry , Govt. of India) across Assam and other parts of North East India.

Niramaya Director Shatakshi Bhattacharjee and other associates of Delhi and New Capital Region chapter conducted awareness programmes on Yoga with a special emphasis on Yoga and Stress Management in Ghaziabad and parts of Delhi in July, 2024.
