Manifesto :::: Real story is Modi has transformed entire country ... that is Bharat ..... -- but no change in Congress

The more things change; the more they look the same. That's the Congress story and that got well reflected in the Manifesto of 2024.

Let's look at Modi projects undertaken between 2014 and 2024 and we will soon appreciate how 'stuck up' with the old menaces is the very old Congress story. They do not want a progressive and modern India. They still believe in Status Quo...Jugadu and Quota politics. There is a sense of entitlement for some and a sort of a permission to discriminate against the Hindus -- especially the upper castes.

The violence in Manipur is well discussed by intellectuals and Kolkata's quz masters - they do not try to address the complicated issue of Reservation. They will also never take a call to start a debate why Vai Naupangs, Plain Manu and Dhwaker were targeted months after months.

Those hamlets and lovely cottages in Mizoram, Nagaland and Meghalaya (especially Shillong) were left 'deserted' and never to go back !!

To start with, Modi projects: Here they were a few:

*** PM Modi commenced Swachh Bharat and spoke about it from Red Fort - Aug 15, 2014 and Sickular brigade laughed at him.

++  Next came in Make in India -- thrust on 'manufacturing'

** Demonetisation happened on Nov 8, 2016 --- 8 pm...

** Then GST came in 2017

** 2018 -- Ayushman Bharat on Health

2019 -- Balakot - lesson for Pakistan (Surgical  strike was undertaken in Sept 2016)

Nov 2019 - Kartarpur Corridor,

Nov 9, 2019 - Supreme Court Mandate on Ram temple

Aug 5, 2019 -- Article 370 is done away with.....

** (In between we had Bullet train launch in 2017 at Ahmedabad

*** -- Vande Bharat, Major roads, Expressways, Modernisation of airports, Atal Setu....

Another Milestone was : International Yoga Day -- declaration by UN in 2014

*** Emergence of 'soft power' and later India took over as 5th largest economy !!

Now cut to April 5, 2024 -- Congress manifesto for general elections ....

And what leave you startled are --- Talks/pledges to push Reservation beyond 50 percent

** Glorify casteism --- Pledge for Caste Census

The sum and substance remains, it remains where it has been; unwilling to change and offer any progressive alternative. It's divisive agenda is yet clear and the grand old party continues to frustrate the upper caste Hindus. The Congress is never for merits and thus pushes the politics of entitlement and freebies.

It ruled for 54 years..... it supported cronyism, nepotism, Jugadu culture and encouraged corruption ' as a way of life' -- and now Congress pledges miracles.

The taste of the Pasta or even the Tea is in its eating or taking a sip.

A totally new narrative of development was created. On many fronts like toilets, roads, electricity, gas supply and access to banking for poor - it was an INCLUSIVE - venture; and look what Congress has to speak to the country -- we will do this for this caste, we will do that for Muslims.

*** GST -- which Congress leader Rahul Gandhi called Gabbar Singh Tax --- actually could get away with the insanely complex Tax and so-called Octroi system India followed.

I was in Mumbai during the peak of Vajpayee government and saw the Octroi Dalals making into the system. India was a difficult position to do business !!

Issues like Ayodhya (Temple-Masjid dispute) and Kashmir and Article might have suited colonial masters or foreign powers. It did not suit India and yet Modi got brickbats for handling the two matters quite effectively.

This is no small matter... and hence no small controversy :::: How is Thailand linked to Congress manifesto ????

How is Bangkok linked to Congress manifesto ???

"Shriman @RahulGandhi  ’s ode to Bangkok: Tu jahan jahan chalega, mera saaya saath hoga…

Such is the profound impact of Rahul’s preferred getaway destination on Nehru Dynasty property @INCIndia that Thailand features pictorially in #CongressManifesto -- tweeted senior journalist Kanchan Gupta

In response to this tweet, came a response:  "Desires lead men to strange places"
