Thanks to London newspaper report ..... Modi is back with his 'macho PM' image vis-a-vis Pakistan and its nefarious activities :::: Says "“today’s India goes inside enemy territory to strike”

It has perhaps came as a blessing in disguise. The English media and in particular western media have never been soft on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. His assertive approach and calling spade a spade, exposing double standards of Europe, the US and the Christian world never made them comfortable.

Moreover, their know-all approach and prophecy did not go down well too; and hence the grievance sustained but in the run up to the 2024 general elections, apparently they seemed to have handed him yet another winning card -- 'the anti-Pakistan and macho Moditva' phenomenon.

It's another match winner !!

Modi, who is running for a third term as prime minister in elections that will begin in two weeks, alluded to operations abroad in a campaign speech on Thursday, stating that “today’s India goes inside enemy territory to strike”, reports London-based 'Guardian'.

The prestigious publication had said -- "India appears to confirm extrajudicial killings in Pakistan". The publication maintained that Indian intelligence operatives told 'The Guardian' that the alleged shift in policy to targeting terrorists in Pakistan came in 2019, after the Pulwama attack when militants from the Pakistan-based terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed killed 40 paramilitary personnel in Kashmir.

In 2019 the gory episode happened on the eve of general election and the narrative built around 'macho Moditva' vis-a-vis Balakot aerial strike and ensuring 'unharmed' return of Air Force Wing Commander Abhinandan ensured Modi's win for a second term in office in a row.

If he wins this summer -- PM Modi will score a record because last time such a thing was achieved was Jawaharlal Nehru.

The Indian intelligence officials claimed that India had drawn inspiration from intelligence agencies such as the Mossad in Israel and from incidents such as the killing of the Saudi journalist and dissident Jamal Khashoggi in 2018 in the Saudi embassy in Istanbul.

"Officials from two separate Pakistani intelligence agencies showed the Guardian detailed evidence from investigations into seven of these killings allegedly carried out by Raw, but said they suspected India’s involvement in up to 20 deaths," the report claimed.

PM Modi now appears 'unstoppable', and for his part he has claimed that he will not stop until 2047, the year India celebrates 100 years of its independence.

Pre-poll surveys and other socio-political indications show the BJP is far ahead of the others on account of the party's and in particular Narendra Modi's power and popularity.

'The Guardian' reported that it had documents those "appeared to show" that several of the killings were orchestrated by RAW "sleeper cells" mostly operating out of the United Arab Emirates, where impoverished Pakistani workers were recruited and paid millions of rupees to carry out the assassinations.

"In other cases, RAW operatives are alleged to have recruited aspiring jihadists through radical Islamist networks and told them they were carrying out “sacred killings” of “infidels”, the paper says.

Pakistan’s foreign office responded stating : “These cases exposed the increasing sophistication and brazenness of Indian-sponsored terrorist acts inside Pakistan, with striking similarities to the pattern observed in other countries, including Canada and the United States".

In fact, Narendra Modi stands to benefit by this 'image' of 'Ghus ke maarta hae' as for long Indian government approach especially under Congress used to be to go slow and with kid-gloves policy. Even after 2008 Nov 26 massacre of innocents in Mumbai, the then Manmohan Singh government did not act with the required firmness.

The new reports also affirm Modi's claim about 56-inch chest -- something ridiculed by his detractors from time to time.

"Senior officials from two separate Pakistani intelligence agencies said they suspected India’s involvement in up to 20 killings since 2020.

They pointed to evidence relating to previously undisclosed inquiries into seven of the cases – including witness testimonies, arrest records, financial statements, WhatsApp messages and passports – which investigators say showcase in detail the operations conducted by Indian spies to assassinate targets on Pakistani soil."

Now an important facet vis-a-vis electoral politics. Latest episodes and speeches on the context of India acting against inimical forces overseas and especially in Pakistan will bring to the fore anti-Muslim narrative too.

As it is the Congress party is accused of being pro-Muslim party.

These can only give a boost to campaign/debate around PM Modi’s alleged 'abandonment of the Sickular or Muslim appeasement legacy of Jawaharlal Nehru.

Modi's redefinition of India as a Hindu nation could intensify discrimination against minorities, especially Muslims in some quarters. In other places, schoolbooks could be changed or even doctored to remove references to Mughal rulers and encourage more reading about Hindu radical leaders like Veer Savarkar; but those only fetch more votes for the BJP.
