BJP may allow the stars of yesterday to depart with dignity ::: That's Hindu way of showing Tolerance :::: Four 'talent spots' of Lotus party - Rio, Himanta, Biren Singh and Muivah have 'backfired'

New Delhi is keeping a watch.

The Congress style of doing so would have been - who would be next chief minister. The BJP almost echoes the grand old party style but being the 'party with a difference' it wants to count the leaders -- who would be departing from the scene.

Nagaland and Nata netas are obliging the saffron outfit as well as the Congress. 

The array in one camp is thus in 'sharp contrast' to the disarray in the other.  

Most BJP leaders are traditionalists by way of Hindu mindset. They know leaders -- Nagas or Meities or Assamese - would have to depart when their moment is over.

They do not mind one thing - that the stars of yesterday may depart with dignity. 

The BJP had discovered four prized talent in the northeast - Neiphiu Rio, Himanta Biswa Sarma, N Biren Singh and also Thuingaleng Muivah.

Now in Oct 2025 - post Diwali - in their estimate, the largest collection of ex-assets are in the saffron outfit.

Rio as an ally. Himanta and Biren Singh as 'BJP mascots' and Thuingaeng Muivah as a prized catch - former militant and who would applaud the leadership of the champion of Hindutva. All the plans have gone wastage more due to over calculation. The Gujarati arithmetic perhaps did not match here. 

And hence a refrain -- given our likely 'evolution of politics' in the next few months and years, more are on the way. 

Now the focus has to be slightly different.

And most of it is due to compulsion of reality.

A -- New Delhi has to amplify India's constitutional integrity, protection for all. A repeat of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vishwas. There has to be enhanced security == physical, national and economical.

And developmental achievements have to be realistic and 'happening' on ground. For example roads in Mon district of Nagaland are more fictional and notional. 

B - There is need to strike a Balance. A K Mishra may be given additional job.

Strike the necessary balance between 'empowering' the Naga voices those who support the cause of Peace and Solution and also 'expose' criminality, extortion, distortion and violence threats from the disciples of the aging militant.  

C --- is for Clarity. 

That assignment should be with Governor of Manipur and Nagaland Ajay Bhalla. He needs to visit Kohima soon and demand a set of bouqey and shawls from new NPF president Rio accompanied by 'Mani Shankar Aiyar' and the likes of BJP ministers and Rio's handpicked state unit president of the Lotus party. 

Now comes the next level and more critical ones.  It has to handled directly under the supervision of Home Minister Amit Shah -- in the manner he handled the Naxal menace.

Be tactical and be ruthless. Hit where it hurts most. 

This means a "jingoistic narrative" that Thuingaleng Muivah and Team Atem have tried to circulate from Somdal that they are ready to "fight again" needs to be discredited. 

Neiphiu Rio should not be invited by Assam Rifles only for football tournaments. 

For sometime he had NDPP friendly intelligence officers. This element needs to be checked, verified and made accountable. 

How is Muivah's men more powerful than Gen Asim Munir's army remains a puzzle for those who are tacking Nagaland matters for years.

Moreover, Human rights works both ways … Its a two-Way Street - 

The NSCN-IM’s own violations and extortion empire may be shared from time to time with once upon a time 'Globe-party' friendly media and a few bloggers in plain manu's land called Delhi. 

Regular offices of NIA and ED should be set up in Kohima somewhere between Raj Bhavan and chief minister's official residence.  That can have symbolic impact too.

The '⁠Documenting of the criminal extortion network' should be a full fledged cell operating with efficiency as was called to expose the Liquor scam of Delhi.

My friends here and there say -- "this would require an impetus by all stakeholders".

The criminal extortion network  and other activities -- old and new - need to be documented by ED and NIA.
