As people focus only on a few families; the "talent of the new people" is not appreciated, laments PM Narendra Modi

“It has been the misfortune of our country that among those who create influence in social life through their speeches, intelligence and personality, a large section is stuck in a stale and closed mentality.

This is not limited to just the political field, it troubles us in all areas of life. Just like in any sector, if a name becomes big, if someone has branded himself, then others don’t get attention, no matter how talented they are, no matter how hard they work… Unfortunately, for many decades, the media’s focus remained mostly on a few families.” --- PM Narendra Modi said

“Because of this, the talent of the new people could not be discussed. Because of this, some people seem new to you sometimes, but the truth is that they are not new. They have their own long experience and penance (tapasya). BJP is a cadre-based party. No matter how far the workers reach while working at every level of the organisation, the worker within them always remains awake,” Modi said.

Probe vital, no need for debate ....says PM Modi on Parliament Security Breach::::: “Gravity of the incident should not be underestimated at all"

“The gravity of the incident in Parliament should not be underestimated at all," Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in an interview to Hindi newspaper Jagran.

Six people have been arrested and terrorism charges filed against four.

Two people jumped into the Lower House, Lok Sabha, chamber while lawmakers members were in session during Zero Hour.

The two individuals Manoranjan, a techie from Mysuru and Sagar Sharma from Lucknow shouted slogans and set off a smoke canister.  Both were caught by MPs and House marshals and taken away. The incident occurred on the 22nd anniversary of an attack on Parliament complex by Pakistani terrorists in 2001 in which more than a dozen people were killed, including five gunmen.

The two men and two others arrested outside Parliament premises named Ms Neelam had chanted slogans, including “dictatorship won’t be accepted”.

Both the Houses have not been able to function since then. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has blamed high inflation and unemployment vis-a-vis PM Modi's politicies responsible for the incident.

A report published on 'India Today' web highlighted how while India and China are in 'one camp', backing Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina, while the US is seen siding with Khaleda Zia in the upcoming Bangladesh elections.

The report was cited by a journalist during a White House press briefing.

In response, White House Spokesperson John Kirby John Kirby said, “We believe in a free and fair election in Bangladesh, and we’ll continue to make that case.

"We don’t take sides in foreign elections, and that doesn’t change in Bangladesh’s case either. We support a free and fair election. We’re going to continue to do what we can to support that basic aspiration of the people of Bangladesh.”

"It is equally important to uncover the elements and intentions behind smoke attack to Indian Parliament," -- PM Modi.

On the Supreme Court’s verdict on Article 370, Modi said: “The Supreme Court has given its imprimatur to the fact that there cannot be two Constitutions in a country. The abrogation of Article 370 was more important for the people of Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh than any politics.

It was necessary for the development of the people and ease of their lives. It was made an issue by a few dynasties due to their political interests. The common man of J&K is neither a part of anyone’s selfish politics, nor does he want to be. Like every citizen of the country, he wants to overcome the troubles of the past and secure the future of his children and his present, without any discrimination.”

"I will tell them frankly – ab brahmaand ki koi shakti anuchchhed 370 ki vapsi nahin kara sakti (Now no power in the universe can bring back Article 370),” Modi said.

*** “In a way, this was the first test for INDIA, and the public defeated the Opposition alliance miserably. The public completely rejected the politics of instability and selfishness.

These results have given a glimpse of the mood of the country. The people have given their mandate for a stable, permanent and dedicated government in the national interest,” he said adding ...."This shows that the BJP is once again going to register a historic victory in the 2024 elections".

India to become third largest economy in my third term, guarantees PM Modi

“The government has also set targets for the next 25 years. We are working on the target of becoming a USD 5-10 trillion economy as well as taking exports to a record high,” he said. India leads in the export of diamonds, including silver cut and laboratory-grown diamonds, but the country’s contribution in world exports of gems and jewellery is just 3.5 per cent, the PM pointed out.

India will be among the top three economies in the world in his third term, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in Surat on Sunday, Dec 17th, after inaugurating the sprawling Surat Diamond Bourse, which he said was the “symbol of strength and determination of new India”.

Addressing a gathering on the occasion, Modi said the Surat diamond industry is giving jobs to 8 lakh people, and another 1.5 lakh jobs will be added due to the new bourse, the world’s largest and most modern centre for the international diamond and jewellery business.
The Surat Diamond Bourse (SDB) building, the world’s largest office complex with more than 67 lakh square feet of floor area, is located at Khajod village near Surat city.

The Surat Diamond Bourse shows the capability of Indian design, designers, material and concept. “This building is the symbol of new strength and determination of new India,” he said. “You all know India has risen to become the fifth biggest economic power in the world from 10th in the last 10 years.

Now, Modi has given his guarantee that in his third innings, India will be among the world’s top three economies,” he said.

“If Surat decides, then very soon we can figure in double digits in gems and jewellery exports. And I give a guarantee that the government stands with you in all your efforts,” he said. The world today is inclined towards India and the country’s reputation is high and being talked about all over, he said. “Made in India has become a strong brand. Your business and jewellery sector will get benefit of this. So I urge you to take a pledge and fulfill it,” he added.
