Tevleen Singh was asked whether 'Gandhis have changed'. She was asked the question by a well known pro-Congress woman TV scribe. The particular journalist made news during Telecom scam of UPA days and the era of Nira Radia tape. Nevertheless, the issue is something else.
Tavleen responded ==
"Gandhis have not changed in the manner they should have".
"They had the family at the top. They could have stayed at the top and rebuilt the party; they have done nothing as far as I can see to rebuild the party in the past 10 years.
What they have done over and over again is to try build the image of Rahul Gandhi. ... And in 2019, he brought his sister".
"And it is nothing to me more sadder....
To a question on Arvind Kejriwal, Tavleen Singh right from beginning she found him as a "fraud".
" .... because Arvind Kejriwal to me from Day - 1 was a fraud". To a question whether she was 'never' a Kejriwal fan; Tavleen said : "Not for a second".
"I saw him as a fraud. I saw everything about him that was fraudulent. Particularly (in 2014), I was in Benaras (Varanasi) for Narendra Modi's election .. He came by train (having sacrificed Delhi CM and then trying to be PM) trying to do all that drama".
Answering questions, she also said - "He (Kejriwal) was a creation of the media".
On CJP's future journey, Tavleen Singh said - "So far, they are doing well. They are drawing attention to all the failings of this (Modi) Govt and the governments in general".
To questions on Rahul Gandhi's Chhatra Ki Goonj programme and other political projects, Tavleen Singh said - "He picks up issues and then turns them into circus.
To me he is still not credible leader for instance; every thing he says is dragged back to Americans ... Ambanis ... I find his political opinion has not evolved.
He is not an alternative and that is why Modi is lucky."
"You ask anyone in the BJP, they say please (Tavleen gestures with folded hands) Isi ko rahene do. Because he is really as asset to Modi".
"He (Rahul) is Modi's biggest asset".
