BJP steps up attack on Supreme Court over the issue of 'over-reach' :::: Sickular lobby lawyers dig holes !! "Supreme Court is singularly responsible for sparking off religious battles", says Nishikant Dubey

"How can you give direction to the appointing authority. Chief Justice of India is appointed by President of India... Law in India is made by India's parliament; you are dictating terms to that Parliament," said BJP MP.

"Close down Parliament if…": BJP lawmaker from Jharkhand Nishikant Dubey slams Supreme Court

"Kanoon yadi Supreme Court hi banayega to Sansad Bhavan bandh kar dena chahiye, (If law is to be framed by Supreme Court; then we should close down Parliament of India)," Nishikant Dubey said in post in on X.

The Lok Sabha MP from Gonda in Jharkhand also held the Chief Justice of India, Sanjiv Khanna, responsible for the “civil wars” happening in the country.

Opposition parties have lauded the Supreme Court's direction to the President as well as the proceedings in the apex court in the Waqf (Amendment) Act matter.

In fact, Congress MP Abhishekmanu Singhvi and Independent MP (supported by Samajwadi Party) Kapil Sibal have flayed Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar for his candid observations against the Supreme Court orders.

Asked about his tweet, Nishikant Dubey was further caustic:

"Is Desh mein dharmik yudh bharkaney ke liye kewal aur kewal Supreme Court zimmedar hae (Only Supreme Court is singularly responsible for sparking off religious battles in this country".

"Supreme Court's only intention seems, show me the face, we will show you the law"," he said the apex court is crossing its own boundary.

"Its boundary is under the Constitution, it has to interpret the law.... For everything you do not have to go to Supreme Court.... Then there is no need for this Parliament; there is no need of any state legislature," Dubey said.

Nishikant Dubey is often at the vanguard of the BJP's political attacks on its rivals in the Lok Sabha and in articulating the ruling party's stand on various complex issues.

In 2023, it was Dubey who spear headed BJP's attack on Trinamool MP Mahua Maitra, who was later expelled from the House.
