At the 78th Army Day Parade, Chief of the Army Staff General Upendra Dwivedi says, "... The Indian Army is steadily evolving into a future-ready force, with empowered soldiers, modern support systems and the ability to operate effectively across multiple domains. Technology is being used to enhance decision-making and situational awareness, while keeping the soldier firmly at the centre of operations.
Building on recent progress, the next two years will be observed as the ‘Years of Networking and Data Centricity’.
This focus will further improve connectivity, information flow and coordination across the force, enabling timely and well-informed decisions. Today’s parade reflected this balance of tradition and transformation.
The Nepal Army Band symbolised enduring friendship, while the participation of newly raised formations highlighted the Army’s evolving capability and preparedness. I congratulate the South Western Command and participants for a successful and befitting Army Day parade. In the end I once again thank the people of Jaipur, the Government of Rajasthan and the media for their support. Your trust and confidence remain the Indian Army’s greatest strength.
