Everything wants or tends to fall down ... that's the law of the nature.
It happens most often with power politics.
We know of a phrase -- "Whales only get shot when they spout".
(The spout serve as a key signal and quickly the animal is hunted)
But Mamata is seemingly in hurry. She wants a fall for herself .... of very high magnitude and stunning velocity/speed.
Is it so ?
BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari has given a new slogan ...
"Chore-der Energy .... Mamata Banerjee"
(The Corrupt have a mighty Source of Energy - That's Mamata Banerjee)
On the latest political developments in West Bengal one is tempted to pose a question - Did BJP err in not arresting or at least preventing Mamata Banerjee when she tried to shield the probe by ED? We may look for answers in different ways !!
The three examples can set up the story.
- The days of the US trying to convince the world that Saddam Hussein did have weapons of mass destruction.
- Trump telling the world that he kidnapped Maduro just to fight drug lords.
-- And Mamata Banerjee telling Indian people and Bengal voters that ED had raided I-PAC office to steal election data.
All three cannot be swallowed !!
The slogan given by Suvendu Adhikari perhaps suits the bill easily.
Mamata Banerjee is more than rattled and hence she has been committing one mistake after another.
In her long and eventful career; she has been "subject" and a pro-active catalyst of so many toxic headlines and political slogans.
This one is the most "unhelpful" one to her long career and her political fortunes perhaps.
Suvendu Adhikari, once her lieutenant and who in 2021 defeated her in politically sensitive Nandigram assembly segment, now says - there was already a payment of Rs 16 crore to I-PAC - the private company in debate. He also shared the cheque NO.
He went onto say - "If Sheikh Shahjahan was a Goonda ... She is Goondi".
It's true Mamata Banerjee has been uncourteous and even disrespectful to political leaders including a Prime Minister in office; she has shown disrespect to the then Lok Sabha Somnath Chatterjee as well. But her latest mis-adventurism preventing ED discharge their duties - -in fact precipitated the start of her fast public fall from grace.
She is certainly nervous and as the TV anchor screamed - the nation wants to know ... "What are you scared of" ?

Mamata Banerjee in her madness has said -- ED was trying to steal away her election strategy and data from the I-PAC office.
This is a childish excuse thrown out by a veteran politician and she has done so without probably realising ... what she has stated.
Firstly - Election Strategies are never Rocket Science.
Secondly; elections are won on ground not by statistics alone - ultimately with the perception battle and doing right synthesis about candidates raising of emotive and influential issues.
Data related to election strategy ... can be googled in most cases. And media persons can dig out such data/information by number of means.
Next - Amit Shah or the Govt of India or BJP top echelons will be so stupid that they send ED to collect 'data'.
Did she not consult Rahul Gandhi about Hydrogen Bomb and Vote Chori ?

Lawlessness in West Bengal was visible in the High Court when the judge Suvra Ghosh could not held the hearing due to chaos created by one Bengal Minister and other TMC associates and supporters.
** Despite repeated warnings from Justice Suvra Ghosh, order was not restored in the courtroom. Issuing a stern warning, she asked lawyers not associated with the case to leave within five minutes, failing which she said she would step out. Still the same drama continued.

** And if at all - there is a unique information (I-PAC has collected or prepared to help Mamata win her next election) --- the BJP has enough 'resources' to gather that from any one of her inside team member ... much later in the day probably on the eve of elections.
January is too early to steal anything about election strategy for a poll that is likely to be held in April-May.
The real problem with a leader like Mamata Banerjee is she hardly knows how to behave like a chief minister. She has over the years succeeded with her politics of gimmick. Her 'street fighter' image.
She sat on a wheel chair in 2021 and still lost in Nandigram. The voters of West Bengal did not have any sympathy. But they did not vote for BJP either as the Left and Congress votes in South Bengal too went to Mamata-led Trinamool Congress.
It was due to strategic voting by urban voters in South Bengal and especially by Muslims. The election outcome was a proof -- because Congress and the Communists could not open account in 2021 polls.
All politicians are terrible !!
But now Mamata has entered a 'danger zone'. She is now blinded by her frustration and has emerged 'the most arrogant' and insecure leader/chief minister.
She has stopped being reasonable and a good comparison in January 2026 would be no less than Donald Trump.
As a consequence -
- there is a gradual drift towards political irrelevance !!
Suvendu Adhikari was asked why ED officials did not object to Chief Minister and others taking away files -- His response actually sums up the state of affairs --
"If they had done so ... they would have been attacked. There would have been blood bath. Many police personnel were gathered there in civil uniform".
