***

Hindus are today proud of their past and traditions - unlike the era under Congress or under coalition regime. This assertiveness is 'new India', that is Bharat. 'Ayodhya' is no longer a shorthand for a civil dispute. The Soul of India exists, and exists holding its head upright in the comity of nations. This is about Mindset and to be precise the 'change' in Mindset.  It's almost a Miracle.

The prophets of doom are awaiting a date with extreme gloom.

Modi has given India and Indians a 'different' picture of themselves. The Modi-bashing army might say the Hindutva is different from the true spirit of Hinduism. But to millions, Hindutva is a way of life and that cherishes the spirit of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas' and rightly Modi has added two new phenomena called Sabka Viswas and Sabka Prayas. What is for all cannot be achieved without the spirit of share and care and efforts of everyone. He has been absolutely right about it.

Who will dispute that the Hinduism as preached by the greatest exponents aims at universal harmony and goodwill. The templates of infra developments, the Modi Years are for all to see.

There are good roads and bridges. Railway stations are modernised and trains give a completely new look. There are toilets in the backyards and nowhere it has been stated that the beneficiaries' money will go only to the accounts of Hindus. It's for all. Triple Talaq has upset Modi bashing army yet again; but it has given a neo-confidence of thousands of Muslim women.

Creditably for his government during the last decade, the Prime Minister has built a right narrative or Foundation based on those pillars -- India will henceforth take a march towards 2047 - the Viksit Bharat.

"It is your support that gives me the immense strength to take bold decisions for the nation's welfare, draw up aspirational plans and implement them smoothly. I need and indeed, look forward to your ideas, suggestions and support as we work to fulfil the resolve of building a Viksit Bharat," the Prime Minister is so right to talk about his vision in his open letter penned for the people on the eve of announcement of election schedules.

Maulana Abul Kalam Azad spoke from his heart when he said: "If an angel descends from the heavens today and proclaims that India can attain Swaraj within 24 hours provided I relinquish my demand for Hindu-Muslim unity; I shall retort - No my friend. I will give up Swaraj, but not Hindu-Muslim unity".  However, we are to lament that the Congress leadership including Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru accepted India's partition. That sowed a permanent seed of ill-feeling and disunity amongst people.

If CAA is disputed today; one can only attribute this to India's partition. And who are to be blamed for the partition? Of course, the Britons, of course people like Mountbatten and of course Congress leaders and the likes of Nehru and even Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

Many years later the 'New Ayodhya's Ram temple' provided a chance to revive the old brotherhood; but the Sickular brigade with their poisonous campaign worked overtime.

India's English media, a section of self-serving elites and intellectuals provided the fodder and perhaps Indian Muslims lost an opportunity to 'own up' themselves. While they lost the legal, moral and the land dispute battle; they could have won the PERCEPTION battle by overwhelming participating in the celebration of Sanatan Dharm.

Instead, a section of leaders in DMK lashed out at Sanatan Dharm. Hope the mandate of 2024 will teach such arrogant elements some lessons.

Modi's popularity transcends national borders. The Indian diaspora which is the largest in the world flocks in huge numbers to catch a glimpse of the Indian PM whenever he travels abroad.

A Leader is a creation of his own people.

The repeated impressive victories of Narendra Modi both in crucial state assembly polls across India and also in two parliamentary polls and also in Gujarat earlier raise a few fundamental questions about governance, leadership, popular will, a bit of timely right wing tilt, right handling of social media narratives and imperatives of development. Namo for Narendra Modi has become a catchword and a legacy for his campaign.

He has himself endorsed Modi Hae toh Mumkin Hae and Modi ki Guarantee slogans. It is also true more the Sickularists of India and foreign backers hit out at Modi as a communal leader; the more India's Prime Minister fell back on his identification with his voters and of course the cheering Hindu crowd. His Jan 22, 2024 speech at Ayodhya remains a lasting template. "HAMARE RAM JI aa gayen haen" - It almost replaces ...the proverbial We the people of India.

In the realm of global diplomacy, as the curtains drew open on the G20 summit, Narendra Modi grew in stature. The 'New Delhi Declaration' was nothing short of an astute diplomatic masterstroke. Modi's 'charm offensive' helped him make friends across the world.

At the G20 summit in Delhi, Modi's diplomatic prowess shone through as he steered India's engagement on the global stage.
