Trinamool list offers 'advantage BJP' -- Why and How ??? ::::::: Desperate Mamata fields 12 MLAs, ex-cricketer from Gujarat Yusuf Pathan and also Mahua Moitra again

Nervousness exposed as TMC brings in ex-cricket star from Gujarat and Bihar and also several cine stars. Moreover, Mamata Banerjee has given tickets to as many as 12 sitting MLAs.

CPI-M leader Mohammad Salim says ".... now we may get candidates from Hollywood as well".

Obviously, many new questions and complicated ones will loom large in the voters' mind.

'Fear' has dramatically changed the politics of Mamata Banerjee. Her favourite nephew Abhishek might have scored 'self-goals' by raking up the bogey of 'outsiders charge' against BJP and Narendra Modi.

The self-styled champion of 'Bengal's Benagli card' had to field three outsiders -- Shatrughan Sinha, Kirti Azad and Yusuf Pathan.

'Fear' is crystal clear as populist Mamaata had to field as many as 12 sitting MLAs. Sandeshkhali nervousness also exposed as the sitting Basirhat lawmaker Nusrat Jahan has been replaced !!

Has Trinamool given up battle in at least 15 parliamentary constituencies if not more ??

Mamata Banerjee has also fielded 12 sitting legislators. Her list include ex cricketers Yusuf Pathan and Kirti Azad and also stars like Shatrughan Sinha, actresses Shatabdi Roy, June Manila, Rachana and also Sayoni Ghosh and actor 'Dev'. She also did not oblige leaders such as Santanu Ghosh, who was denied Rajya Sabha berth.

Tickets have been denied to Arjun Singh (MP from Barackpore) and also vocal spokesman Kunal Ghosh, who was keen for Kolkata Uttar seat. The Mamata-Abhishek duo also surprised many by fielding 'reluctant' Saugata Roy from Dumdum and also veteran lawmaker Sudip Bandyopadhyay.

The BJP likely to win a few seats rather easily. These will be Tamluk and Krishnanagar. Even in constituencies such as Bongaon, TMC candidate Biswajit Das is rather weak.

Two of the big names missing from the list were Nusrat Jahan and Mimi Chakraborty. In 2019 elections, Nusrat and Mimi represented Basirhat and Jadavpur seats, respectively. This year, they have been replaced by Nurul Islam and Saayoni Ghosh, respectively.

A quick analysis of the Trinamool's list shows the party has shown trust in new faces in the BJP's stronghold in North Bengal. Meanwhile, in south Bengal - which is Mamata Banerjee's strength - her party went with old names.

At today's rally, Mamata Banerjee also announced that her party would contest in Uttar Pradesh, Meghalaya and Assam too in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.

She said Trinamool Congress talked about one seat in Uttar Pradesh with Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav.
