The Congress released its second list of 43 candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The list features names of sons of senior Congress leaders, including Kamal Nath and Ashok Gehlot.

Nakul Nath, who is the son of former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath, has been fielded from Chhindwara in Madhya Pradesh. He is a sitting MP from the seat. Vaibhav Gehlot has been fielded from Jalore.

Altogether Congress has fielded 82 candidates as its first list included 39 candidates. In West Bengal, despite the snub from Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee, the Congress did not name any candidate.

Ms Banerjee has already named her 42 candidates including cricket star Yusuf Pathan from Congress veteran Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury's  stronghold of Bahrampur.
