Why Telangana's Congress CM calls Modi 'elder brother' ?? ::::::: In 2019, Rahul Gandhi gave 'Chowkidar'.... now ..... Lalu Yadav prompts 'Modi ka parivar' campaign for BJP

PM Narendra Modi said that the "entire nation is saying in one voice today, 'main hu Modi ka Parivar' (I am Modi's family)".

Top BJP leaders have added the "Modi ka Parivar" slogan on their handles on the X social media platform.

Top BJP leaders, including Union Home Minister Amit Shah and party president JP Nadda, on Monday added the "Modi ka Parivar" slogan on their handles on the X social media platform. The development came hours after Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav said at a rally that the Prime Minister "does not have a family of his own".

Earlier in the day while addressing a public meeting in Telangana's Adilabad, the Prime Minister said that his new slogan ahead of the Lok Sabha polls this year is "you are Modi’s and Modi is yours".

While addressing the 'Jan Vishwas Maha Rally' at the Gandhi Maidan in Patna on Sunday, Lalu Yadav had criticised the Prime Minister over his remarks on nepotism,

"People with more children are subjected to humiliation over the issue," the former Bihar Chief Minister said, adding that Modi "does not have a family of his own".

The new slogan is reminiscent of the 2019 "Main bhi Chowkidar Hoon" campaign which was prompted by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's remark "Chowkidar chor hai".

The word "Chowkidar" gained prominence after Modi started using it when he became the Prime Minister in 2014.

The Congress MP had made the remarks while accusing Modi of corruption in the Rafale fighter jet deal.

Just before the elections took place in May 2019, the Prime Minister launched the poll campaign in March that year by posting a video on X (then Twitter) with the hashtag #MainBhiChowkidar.

On March 18, 2019, the BJP had stepped up its ‘Main bhi chowkidar’ campaign with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other party leaders, including the then President Amit Shah, prefixing the word ‘chowkidar’ to their names in their Twitter profile as they sought people’s support in the Lok Sabha elections.

Revanth Reddy's 'big brother' reference for PM, 'Gujarat model' for Telangana

Telangana's Congress Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has called Prime Minister Narendra Modi "big brother" and said that if Telangana is to develop, it has to follow the Gujarat model.

Reddy on Monday, March 4, said said he won't fight against the central government as he asked PM Modi's support to help develop the state of Telangana.

Reddy said that Telangana wants to join hands in fulfilling the PM's dream of a five trillion-dollar economy. The Chief Minister stated that Hyderabad and Telangana will assist the Centre in the country's development as he requested funds for the metro rail project.

PM Modi is on a tour to Telangana ahead of the Lok Sabha elections 2024. He laid the foundation stone for over 30 development projects worth more than Rs 56,000 crore in Telangana's Adilabad on Monday.

Addressing a gathering at Adilabad after inaugurating development projects, PM Modi said, "The country's 140 crore population is my family."  "The BJP is committed to the development of the nation. That is why, even the people of Telangana are saying..."abki baar, 400 paar," PM Modi said.
