Bengal's Quiz master ...gets 'veiled attack' from Congress veteran

While speaking to the reporters on Thursday evening, Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury said, "Derek O’Brien is a foreigner, he knows a lot of things. Ask him."

Arvind Kejriwal praises Ayodhya temple opening, adopts 10 principles of 'Ram Rajya'

That he is no Rahul Gandhi. That he has all connections to leaders like perceived Hindu-haters and Indian communists and urban Naxal intellectuals; but Arvind Kejriwal is being pragmatic.

That he may do well or 'better' than Congress in 2024 Lok Sabha polls can be anybody's guess; but he is being a sensible politician!!

Hence he says, his government is adopting 10 principles of 'Ram Rajya' in the national capital and also that: -- the Ram Lalla 'Pran Pratishtha' at Ayodhya's Ram temple was a matter of "immense pride and happiness".

Sickularism may not come to his rescue, he seems to understand that better.

"On one hand, while we have to devote ourselves to Lord Ram, on the other hand, with the utmost honesty, we have to dedicate ourselves to the welfare of our nation. If we tread the path of Lord Ram, no one can stop India from becoming the world's number one country," Arvind Kejriwal said.

His government has adopted 10 points of 'Ram Rajya', Kejriwal said.

* He said that the 'Ram Rajya' in Delhi would determine that everyone in the national capital gets "an equal and good education".

** Every citizen in Delhi should get quality medical treatment, and no one should be refrained from the same or die because of lack of money, Arvind Kejriwal said. "We have improved the hospitals of Delhi".

** Arvind Kejriwal said that it is the AAP government's endeavour that no individual suffers from hunger in Delhi.

## Arvind Kejriwal said that everyone in Delhi should have water - starting from the poor to middle-class families, stressing that it is indeed happening in the national capital now. "Today, we have supplied water to many areas of Delhi".

- Another 'Ram Rajya' principle that Arvind Kejriwal adopted is respect for elders. "A family and society can never progress where elders are not respected," he said.

-- He called for women's safety in Delhi, while taking a dig at the Centre, saying that the law and police in the national capital are not under the AAP government. "We are trying to do everything within the system we have.

Today, a big network of CCTV cameras has been formed in Delhi. (The city) has the world's largest network of CCTV cameras. More CCTV cameras are installed in Delhi than in New York, London, and Paris. An effort has been made to install street lights in dark areas," Arvind Kejriwal said.

** The Delhi Chief Minister highlighted the importance of employment, saying that "unemployment is the biggest problem facing the country today". Arvind Kejriwal said that via employment fairs and government job portal, as many as 12 lakh jobs have so far been provided.

** In Delhi's 'Ram Rajya', Arvind Kejriwal said, "Inflation will have to be reduced." He said that people are unable to meet their daily household expenses due to inflation. The Delhi Chief Minister, however, noted that according to a survey the central government, the national capital has the "lowest inflation in the entire country". He added that if inflation is so intense, there cannot be any 'Ram Rajya'.

** Arvind Kejriwal also said that such a regime needs to be created or a government must be in power, in which every individual gets an "equal share", and lives with "love and affection".

**  He praised his government's electricity policies, saying that now everyone in the national capital gets 24-hour electricity without any power cuts. "Everyone should get electricity," the Delhi Chief Minister said, adding that people are now getting zero electricity bills and the poor are enjoying free power.

To deny 'Ram Leher (wave) in India by Rahul Gandhi will bring him Ram-inflicted 'pralay (Disaster)' - says a devotee from Australia

This gentleman calls himself Ram devotee from Australia. Clad in saffron this man says, he hails from Perth in Australia.

Asked to comment on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's remarks that there is "no Ram Leher (wave)", he told a TV channel:

"His (Rahul Gandhi's) supporters are not allowing him to see the pulse of the nation. I think he will see a Ram 'pralay' in these elections," said the visitor from Australia (of course an Indian).

A BJP leader and a Catholic Christian Alphons Kannanthanam has said, "The entire country and all the communities are united in endorsing the Ram Temple. I think this is the beginning of a long journey of uniting the country. No more battles, no more wars. I think Ram is going to be a unifying force".

If you argue Hindu Rashtra is coming, many should realise that part of it has already come.

The Jan 22 temple event at Ayodhya will certainly have immense far-reaching consequences.

In the words of RSS supremo Mohan Bhagwat, also a great admirer of PM Modi,: "Knowing that there is Ram everywhere, we have to coordinate among ourselves".

He also said: "Ram left Ayodhya because there were disputes...Ram Rajya is coming and we have to shun all the disputes".

The big picture message is crucial. All words and phrases are loaded and also well measured. Per se no one can find fault with what RSS chief Bhagwat has said at the temple venue on Jan 22.

One argument has come that RSS chief's remarks that: "Earth has everything for everyone needs; but it cannot satisfy everyone's greed" -- could be actually directed more towards non-Hindus and also Christians.

BJP leaders, however, say PM Narendra Modi himself keeps repeating that his government is committed to 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas (Development for all with the support of all)' to reiterate his government's approach to 'inclusive' governance strategies.

  1. Kejriwal, as always has shown his vile avatar. The crypto Christian he has been for several years, but has hid his this face from his voters for years, but I am amazed how fellow politicians from other parties could never gauge this facet of Kejriwal's personality. If I am not wrong it was in 2022 Dushhera day he organised a huge convention in Delhi asking the attendees, mostly they all were Hindus, to take oath that they would never pray before any Hindu Gods or goddesses. He had vowed to organise much bigger convention on Dushhera day in 2023, but like every other promises he dumped the idea. What prevented him is anybody's guess. It seems after the January 22 Ram Lalla 'pran pratishtha' ceremony that saw the whole India rally behind the inauguration of Ram Mandir. Kejriwal understood the power of lord Ram. He wouldn't want to hurt the sentiments of the devotees of Lord Ram. Rahul Gandhi is totally opposite. He likes to live in denial mode to appease the Muslim voters. He tries to fool Hindu voters by visiting one or other temple wearing 'janeu', the sacred thread, over the jacket he wears, which has become a joke. In one one of the temples he visited, Rahul sat on his legs the way Muslims sit while doing namaz. The pandit of the temple had to prod him that he was not sitting properly. Padmasan is the right position to sit he was told. It is a different matter that he had no clue as to what Padmasan is. Now to expect RaGa to understand the historical importance of the inauguration of Ram Mandir for which Hindus had waited for over five centuries is beyond comprehension. -- Kirti Patil, Pune
