Modi is blessed, and blessed Uniquely !! He had Rahul G as an 'asset' for campaign: Now, Nitish, Kejriwal and Baghel

Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president KT Rama Rao on Wednesday said Rahul Gandhi is Prime Minister Narendra Modi's "biggest asset."

His remarks came over the Congress's 'B-team' charge for Opposition parties. KTR also said he and his party are "excited" as well as "nervous" about the assembly elections in Telangana. "I think we'll be able to break our previous records, especially because we have already been given two terms by the people of the state, and the same trendline is ongoing. We'll win more than we won last time," KT Rama Rao said.

Indian Opposition are themselves turning into assets for PM Narendra Modi and the BJP ... in the run up to the polls 2024. Five months away from India's mandate when India will vote for next five years, opposition stalwarts are falling into one trap or the other. And few are like SUICIDAL !!

Rahul Gandhi is of course a 'classic asset', Modi has !! It appears heavenly -- as long as Rahul is the Congress face, Narendra Modi may not have much of a tough time.

But now others are also in the queue. Arvind Kejriwal of AAP, Bihar CM and JD-U stalwart, Nitish Kumar and also another Congress leader Bhupesh Baghel. Of them, perhaps Kejriwal and Baghel face chances of jail journeys on the issue of corruption. But Nitish has given a ready made tool to the BJP by his rather unnecessary light hearted remarks on sexual relations and marital bliss.

Even his finger-gestures gave double meaning message!!

"There hasn't been a leader more vulgar than Nitish Kumar in Indian politics. It appears that Nitish babu's is bitten by 'adult, B-grade films' bug. There should be a ban on his double-meaning remarks. It seems he has been influenced by the company he keeps," the Bihar BJP remarked in a post on X.

In a video, the Bihar Chief Minister is heard saying on the floor of the assembly that the fertility rate, earlier at 4.3 per cent, has now dropped to 2.9 per cent per a report last year. His bizarre remarks on population control in the state also drew flak from women BJP legislators.

"The Chief Minister is over 70 and is making nonsensical remarks. He used a word that we cannot utter. We will protest against this," said BJP MLA Gayatri Devi.

A woman Congress MLA conceded that the Chief Minister could have avoided certain words. "Our society prohibits from saying certain things in public," Pratima Das said. Deputy Chief Minister and RJD  leader Tejashwi Yadav, however, backed the Chief Minister, saying the CM was only talking about sex education. "It's taught in Biology," Yadav said.

Now look on the other hand, sickular intellectuals are finding it tough to defend Nitish Kumar, once called the Su-Sashan Babu !  And hence they have focused chiefly on Nitish's remarks on 65 per cent quota. A typical casteist game is part of the Sickular narrative.  There are two other leaders - Baghel and Delhi CM, Kejriwal.

For his part, PM Modi in a poll rally at Hyderabad said, "Those who looted people, they will have to return (the money). This is Modi’s guarantee”. Well, in Hyderabad, it is presumed his target of tirade was Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao and BRS; one could link the Prime Minister's strong assertion about firm action against corruption was against Congress party and especially Chhattisgarh CM Baghel.

Subham Soni, who claims to be the owner of the controversial Mahadev app, said he went to Dubai on the advice of Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and gave Rs 508 crore as “protection money’ to politicians to ensure his men do not get arrested.

"It is no mystery why and how this video has come and it is also not difficult to understand that such a statement has been issued at the time of elections only to benefit the BJP”.

The first phase of polling for 20 seats in Chhattisgarh was held on Nov 7.  Baghel even joked with journalists to suggest that the BJP is pursuing 'vendetta' politics against him. "ED will be around till Nov 17 (when second and final round of polls will be held in Chhattisgarh)...they have families, they will take a break and come back again before Lok Sabha polls".

But rhetoric is one thing; the reality is the fresh charge of Rs 508 crore bribery against the Chief Minister has rattled the opposition camp. Perhaps Congress also realises that it cannot do much against the allegations.

Who will address, Aug 15, 2024 ??

On the other hand, speculation is rife that Delhi CM Kejriwal, who did not attend to ED summons, may also go to jail. Kejriwal presided over a meeting of party leaders, key advisers and MLAs.

Various important AAP leaders have said that "even if our leader Kejriwal is arrested and put behind bars, he will continue to run the government from jail....Our leader need not resign as this ED business is only to unseat Kejriwal from Chief Minister's post".

For AAP, the dilemma is immense as former Deputy CM, Manish Sisodia is also behind bars and was denied bail by the Supreme Court.

Over all, it seems, as the country's political stage slowly is gearing up for the battle of 2024, we may get more excited times ahead.

The problem with the Sickular establishment and also the Opposition parties is that they want to see only the brighter side of the coin! The Congress win in Karnataka and Himachal Pradesh have been hyped beyond necessity.

The fact of the matter is in both these states -- the general trend has been to replace the government(s) in power. The Sickular media and Opposition have nearly forgotten the mandate of Gujarat in December 2022 when Congress was routed chiefly due to the presence of AAP.

This could happen even in other states especially during the Lok Sabha polls.  From the cowbelt, former UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav says, he did a mistake by "trusting" a man of 80 years old. His reference was to Congress party's accidental 'out of the dynasty' president Mallikarjun Kharge.
