The first golden door has been installed at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, with just days left for the consecration ceremony. The door, which is 12 feet high and 8 feet wide, has been installed on the upper floor of the sanctum sanctorum.
In the In the next three days, 13 more golden doors will be installed there, according to the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister's office.
In total, 46 doors will be installed in the Ram Temple, out of which 42 will be coated with gold, the CMO said.

The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, who is in Ayodhya to review the preparations for the ceremony, directed the implementation of the 'Kumbh Model' of cleanliness in Ayodhya.
He announced the commencement of a cleanliness campaign in Ayodhya on January 14, underscoring the significance of maintaining a clean and hygienic city during the preparations for the consecration ceremony.
Ayodhya is getting decked up for the "Pran Pratishtha" at the temple on January 22 and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and other special invitees, are set to attend the mega event.
Over 7,000 people are on the invitee list of the temple trust, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, including politicians, Bollywood celebrities, cricketers, industrialists and more.
During his first visit of the year 2024 to Ayodhya on Tuesday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directed officials to implement the 'Kumbh model of cleanliness' in Ayodhya and ensure that the 'Ramnagari' appears the cleanest and the most beautiful among cities.
He specifically instructed, "Dust should not be visible on the roads, and toilets must be cleaned daily."
The Chief Minister conducted a thorough inspection of the ongoing development projects and expressed concern for the well-being of the saints and sages. His visit also included a trip to Kuber Tila, where he paid homage to Jatayu.
In relation to the ongoing development projects, the Chief Minister gave clear instructions to the concerned officials that it was imperative for them to execute the tasks maintaining high-quality and within the specified timeframe in view of the fact that following January 22, a significant surge in the number of devotees and tourists was expected. The Chief Minister made it clear that any form of negligence would not be tolerated under any circumstances.
During the tour of the Tent City developed by the Trust, Trust General Secretary Champat Rai provided Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath with insights into the arrangements at Teerth Kshetra Puram.
The Chief Minister visited various areas, including Mahant Avedyanath Ji Nagar, Omkar Bhave Nagar, and Vamdev Ji Maharaj Nagar, examining the preparations and emphasizing the utmost priority on cleanliness. He expressed the need for a cleanliness system akin to the one implemented during the Kumbh festival.
